Arrow THE ROUND TAB PUNCH - temp way of doing!

Am I the first to come up with this idea.
At the moment I can't afford all the SU punches I want.
And I want the ROUND TAB PUNCH -- "bad"

So, i experimented and I punched a large circle
and then took the next size down and carefully punched
about 1/2 inch (what ever amount you want really) out
on each side of this circle punch.

then I folded it in half and I have a ROUND TAB PUNCH
not exactly the same with the intricute cutouts that the SU
one has - - but a quick fix if you ask me?

Has this been talked about before?

It actually worked and think - - you could make all sizes.....remember
the circle punch you punch - just go down ONE SIZE each time to
punch the half moon shapes on the sides.

Wonderful idea! Don't they say, Necessity is the mother of invention?

Another tip: if you don't have the ticket corner punch, you can very carefully use a small circle punch to take a little "bite" out of the corners and get kind of the same effect.
