I am so excited, I am having a Stampin Up demo at my house on Friday night, I have been buying the sets for about 5 years from ebay, but now I get to see an actual demo.
So any tips on hosting the party or favourite sets I would be so grateful.

If you've been buying on eBay, you must have a good idea of what you like. Make sure you have a long wish list to pick out your free items. Don't overdo on the snacks.

If you are having a workshop at your house, and other people will be buying, do NOT talk about buying from eBay! Your demo is taking the time out of her schedule to do a workshop for you and your friends, so be considerate of that! Your demo can show you stuff that the eBay sellers can't - she can teach you different techniques, help you choose what you need to buy (so you can do the most with what you already have and what you're buying, etc), and much more!!

I hope you have a wonderful time! When I host a party, I have a couple of different types of soda on hand as well as lemonade (and water, of course). During the winter I'll make a pot of coffee as well. I keep snacks pretty simple--veggies and dip, maybe some fruit, some type of bread, and something chocolate.

I'm in a stamping group, and we all bring our own scissors and adhesive. I would think for a party the demo would provide those things, but you might check just in case so you can be prepared with extra adhesive just in case.

Before the party you might want to go through the catalog and make your wishlist so when it comes time to choose your hostess benefits you aren't agonizing for days.
