I actually think some of the hostess sets and SAB will start going big now that they are limited. I have a very small customer base and have been asked by 4 different people if I will be selling Basket full of fun and three about Measure of a life.
Otherwise I agree that:
Washday Jumbo Wheel
Glam Girl
Swell News
I love soccer
I will also go out on a limb for All Mixed Up

Sorry Denidill. I just realized it's you're in Canada. It's pg 156 in ours but not sure if that helps.

Britta does have a crystal ball, she convinced me to buy Little Trucks from her last year, and look at it now! I certainly trust her judgement, she knows what stamps I will use (even if I don't know it yet) and also what I can sell later...there goes my budget again!

*Classic Pickups-masculine sets are always sought after later on
*Power Up-can be used for so many things-plus it is masculine
*Pines-great for campers, scrapbookers, manly carsd. Solid images are easy to use.I do not think it is super popular so I think it will be hard to find later on.
*Cheesecloth bg-has just started to really gain popularity-great for beach projects, cooking (like the voila chef), and great texture

I agree with Britta's list but would add "By Air" and the "Builder Bits" wheel. Masculine and Boy sets seem to sell very well after retiring and "By Air" was only in the catalog for one year.

it didn't make it into the Canadian catty, however your demo should be able to get it for you. I bought it in the states.

Oh not the gnomes or the motorcycle santa. I'll bet roses in winter and definitely cheesecloth (kind of like the chicken wire background).

I think it also depends on what new stamps come out. A great example is the old paisley background was a great seller on ebay for a year but once SU came out with the new paisley background, the old was wasn't worth much.

Classic Pickups was omitted from the Canadian catty by mistake. It is still available to order (until June 30th.) Use the item # from last year's catty and it should work. I remember getting something from SU about that last year...

I definitely agree that Best of Cluck should be popular later...heck, I am floored that they are retiring it after only 2 catty years! I have only used it ONCE for stamp club but I adore that set, it's so funny!!! Guess I will have to do something with it for my Please Don't Go Stamp a Stacks this coming month...but what??? oh well, I'll think of something, I always do! Jan

I'm not an enabler, I'm an opportunist! I just want all of my friends to buy more sets so I can buy different ones. I would never enable in the sense of creating a panic that my friends have to buy these retired sets at my upcoming party, or including the retired list in my invitation, no, not me =)
