http://www.webrubberstamps.com/SL-ba...rs/index.htm?1

This web site has 91 SONLIGHT background stamps. Think it was $14.99 mounted and 7.99 unmounted.

Thought I would try looking on the web for that company.

Thumbs up Paisley baby!

I ordered on Monday and this very day my paisley stamps were in my mailbox. I posted a picture (I hope I did it right, the pic is not the greatest) for those of you who wanted to see it in person. I haven't done anything creative with it yet. It does completey cover a 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 sheet of cardstock.
HTH!

That paisley stamp is great. I had arranged to get the SU Paisley Print from someone here at SCS but she then couldn't find it and hasn't gotten back to me. I am sure that the lure of eBay called to her! :-) Can't say I blame her. Anyway, I'm going to get the paisley stamp and I also really like the Victorian Pattern one - that's on their eBay store and their actual storefront. Thanks for the info!

Yes, doh, why didn't I think of that :-)

If I would quit spending my time frivolously and get down to business I probably would have at least a card or two made already!!

This weekend, I promise!!!

I couldn't get on Cornish Heritage Farms website, so I looked at these stamps on webrubberstamps.com. Acoording to the the rulers along each stamp, the background stamps are about 4 1/2 by 5. In other words, won't cover a quarter sheet of cardstock in one stamp pass. I wish that weren't so because I saw many backgrounders (as they call them) that I want.

I wish could post the pic that my sister sent me. I won't see her until tomorrow, so I have to wait until then to get my stamp. But I've seen the stamp and the image, and this stamp is *exactly* the same size as the SU! bg stamps. My sister compared them side by side and they are the same. There is no discernable difference between the size if the SU! bg stamps and these bg stamps! It's a great deal!

If you want a pic of the stamp and the stamped image, pm me and I will email it to you, I can't figure out how to post a pic here.

I got my stamp today--Yipeee! Haven't stamped with it *yet*, but did put a card on it to check the size, and it DOES cover the entire card, with a little bit to spare. Rubber measures 5 7/8 by 4 3/8. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

Does the unmounted come with a block you can mount on, or do you have to buy that separately?

Thanks, Denise

you can buy them mounted for 14.99, or unmounted for 7.99. They sell the acrylic blocks and wood blocks if you choose to mount either of those ways. It gives you a lot of choices.

Well, thanks to all of you, I spent $55 here. Of course, with the unmounted stamps, I got a lot for my money! That $55 includes the large acrylic block, the paisley, two of the Victorian, the crackle, an a saying or two. Free shipping! Looks like a great deal!

Default Thanks for the paisley info

Thanks for the info on Cornish Heritage Farms stamps. I just ordered the paisley BG one. I wouldn't pay for the Su one on ebay. Besides, I think I like this better. Ordered a few more stamps also. The free shipping and no sales tax is definetly a plus! You girls are the best. -Karen

Default Got mine!!!

Hey gang,
Just wanted to let you know that my paisley background (and two others) arrived this weekend. Boy are they ever nice! I believe the quality is very good for the money. Just be sure to bid on UM or M whichever you prefer.
The seller is very friendly and easy to work with. If you're on the fence, I wanted to let you know that my experience was very very positive!!

Default Question for those of you who ordered UM

SU stamps are the only ones I am familiar with that I have to mount. So with the UM stamps from this company, if you order the wood or acrylic blocks, what sort of glue do you use to mount the rubber onto it? Hope this isn't a dumb question, but I've never mounted anything but SU and I don't know if these other UM stamps have adhesive on the back or not.

Hi Peggysue,

With these particular stamps (Cornish Heritage) you can order mounted or unmounted. Mounted is easy -- it comes on the wood for you. Unmounted, you can specify one of 2 ways. You can get it (1)with adhesive on the back. This is basically just like the SU stamps, but you'll get no wood block to mount it on. Or you can get (2)a vinyl-like cling backing on the stamp. This allows you to temporarily "stick" the stamp onto an acrylic block, stamp, then pull it off again and store it in a binder or something like that.

Hope that helps!

Red face

Mine just came today, and I love them! I got 3 backgrounds mounted on easycushion (I think) and the large acrylic block.

I have a question. When you go to use the stamp, you peel off the paper and put the stamp on the acrylic block. When you are done, do you need to replace the paper to protect the surface?

I have used a product like this, but I don't know if it was called easycushion....anyway, you don't need to put the paper back onto the easycushion (in fact, I don't believe it will stick again once it is removed). You can slap the easycushion on a piece of glossy cardstock and slip it in a page protector and put it in a notebook or you can put the stamp inside of a cd case (or on the outside of the cd case since it is larger than the case). Mainly the object is to keep the back side of the easycushion clean and dust free and if it is attached to something (cs or plastic cd case) it will stay clean and sticky. Hope this makes sense!

I received 4 background stamps two business days after ordering them from Heritagefarms. They are really well made. Nicely etched - covers the quarter card with a bit to spare! Very pleased. Plus they sent me a full color catalog so I can spend more money!!!! LOL Thanks jukeboxgraduate!

Hi,
I don't post much, but I do lurk a lot, and I stumbled on this thread. I went to the Cornish Heritage Farms website and couldn't resist! I just wanted to say that I ordered four backgrounds (crackle, victorian floral, paisley, and trees) and some other stamps Tuesday (3/7) and got them today (3/10). These are very nice quality stamps - I got mine with the acrylic mounting option - and they also come with a copy of what your stamp looks like. I will definitely be ordering from them again. So if anyone is still on the fence, I would highly recommend going for it!

Thanks for sharing this. I posted this week about wanting one for my MIL's wedding invites. I have several hundred to make and it is a western theme. I looked on ebay but I guess my search words didn't allow for it to come up.
