Cool Oct. Paper Crafts magazine ERROR?

In Oct. issue of papercrafts magazine on pg74 the snowman card calls for Chrome duct tape. Is this REALLY duct tape? Where can you purchase it? I love the look!!
Also, on the next page (pg75) the supplies listed for the featured card says it uses "SNOWFLAKES" stamp by SU! It is not the snowflakes set in the current catalog so I am thinking it might be an error. On the same page in the side insert they suggest using snowflake stamps from other SU sets and list Holiday Sampler set as the first suggestion. Is this a retired set? I don't recall any set that I am familiar with that look like the sample. Any ideas?

Chrome duct tape can be purchased in a hardware store or Home Depot. It is thinner than regular duct tape and very smooth.

The snowflake stamp used on page 75 is from What Could Be Better? which was a level 3 hostess set in the 2004-2005 catalog.

Holiday Sampler was also in the 2004-2005 catalog.

another thing to remember is that what you see in magazines, regarding stamp sets, will not always be current. A lot projects sent in can feature retired sets.

Talking THanks

THANKS for the info. I think it is so interesting to look at stamp sets over and over and not notice one or two of the stamps in a certain set!!!! I never really liked the words in "what could be better" set so, obviously never noticed the other stamps (or at least was not impressed with them). WIsh these magazines would use current stamps - but then I guess it helps those ebay sellers GRIN

I am off to Home Depot to check out the chrome duct tape.
Again thanks - I knew this group would come thru

If you like working with the chrome tape, Tim Holtz uses it a lot. There was a Carol Duvall episode a few weeks ago where he embossed it and used it to cover a mirror frame.
