I thought I'd seen a thread in here somewhere on a pattern for a box for note cards (the 5.5 x 4.25 ones) but can't for the life of me locate it. I'd like to do note card sets as holiday gifts and think packaging them in handmade boxes would be a nice touch.
Location: This must be heaven...there are stamps & scrapbooks EVERYWHERE!!!

Danita,
I absolutley love this box pattern. I use it all the time for gift boxes and include 6 or 8 stamped cards and envelopes. If you dont use any embellishments, you can fit 8, but when using ribbons, eyelets, etc, only try 6 in the box comfortably. You can also buy these pre-scored from your demonstator. Good luck. I have included it as an attachment.

This may be a stupid question to ya’ll. What are note cards?? Are they greeting cards you make that are not designated for a holiday? That can be used for thank you or birthday? If so that is a great idea for gifts. Everyone knows that I just became a Demo in March and now my life is SU. They would love this for a gift.
My thought on note cards is the little 4.25 x 5.5 cards we make - pretty much for any occasion. As a holiday gift, I plan to give an assortment of thank you, b-day, thinking of you...that sort of thing. I'm thinking around 6-8 cards, depending on how many I can get done.
Last year I happen to be visiting a relative in Arizona and went into an Office Max. This was just before Christmas and they had some boxes made to hold large greeting card. They were clear and had dividers. I bought a couple and figured when I got back to California I would go to an Office Max here. Guess what all stores are not created equall. I had to call about 12 different stores before I could find 6 more boxes. They aren't quite like the boxes this site has but in the future I will now have a source to contact. I also plan on giving an assortment of greeting cards to several people this Christmas.
