You are welcome! So glad I could pass it on, as it was passed to me, and I enjoyed it!
Louise, I had to look up the word procurement; I wasn't familiar with it. lol... Hope you are enjoying time with your grandkids!
I got the calendar yesterday. Thank you for the lovely Hawaiian scenery.
Mahalo for letting me know. Welcome. Sorry took awhile had to wait on kids to get me to PO and being sick isn’t helping. Glad it got there finally. I still need to get more out . Enjoy
Hello to all the wonderful stampers who pay it forward. I haven't been on here much since Oct. I don't know where the last 3 months went. I hope everyone is well.
I really need to sort out some stuff to pass on and I hope to post some things this week.
I like to start the new year with clearing out some things I don't need.
I just saw this today and I love the idea so I am posting here so maybe it will get more attention--
(A SCS member requesting birthday cards for her mother's 99 th birthday)
Hi everyone. It has been a crazy end of the year. My husband has been ill for the last few weeks so I've been trying to keep him from doing the usual Christmas chores by doing them myself. Also in the middle of year-end close (I work in finance) at work so that means long hours. Haven't had much time for any crafting. Hoping to get back in the craft room after the new year and then I'll post a few things as I continue to clean out some items I don't use as often any more.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Stay safe.

I deliberately did not put a year in the header for this thread. I don't think it needs one- it can just go on, like in the "old" days. So, we'll just keep on right here. Yup, I need to dig out some things to offer, too. Now that the holidays are over (with the exception of my upcoming birthday, of course), we can get back on track!
Hello!
Louise, I hope your husband is feeling lots better and work has slowed down for you! I am looking forward to things getting back to normal here too.
Hi Pat, I think it's good to continue this thread also! So cool that you have a birthday coming up!
Hope you all had a good holiday! Sorry I haven't been here; been recooperating from a minor surgery and sinus trouble, and my house is needing lots of attention. Just getting started back being able to clean just a little bit. Hopefully, I can get to straightening on my craft room soon and find something to share.
I don't have to look long to have something to share but when I think of the postage to mail an ink pad that stops me very quickly! I did donate an ink pad yesterday to our local thrift store because I didn't want to pay the shipping price of paying-it-forward.
I don't know how to take my own pictures either so I have to have my husband do that for me so that limits my desire to post much.
I did send off a surprise box to a young girl (I think she is now 14) that moved away from here and I had wanted to get her a box together of paper and stamps to get her started with a "ministry" of card making...but the last seconds never came so I never got it done...decided I would send her gift cards to the 3 basic places telling her what I buy where and she can get started! The box I sent included tape, glue, Momento ink pad, stickers and some chipboard items...she should be squealing on Saturday in Illinois :p

That was so sweet of you! I bet she will be thrilled!
I totally understand about not wanting to mail big items. I can't drive due to Meniere's, so I can't drive to the post office to mail stuff, so I have to use stamps. That makes me have to guess on postage. It's just easier to mail things that aren't large; plus, I have to watch my spending.
That being said, I love stamped images and things like that, so small things are a delight! It's just so nice to share and to get small little surprises in the mail. Just something nice to look forward to.
That is wonderful that you are helping her to get started! Makes me glad to hear there are kids who enjoy crafting!

I too like to get images in the mail. I have mostly sentiments or old SU and GKD images. Really like the old style stamp images but sometimes it is nice to get a new image from someone.
I used to not like House Mouse images because mice were real in my life. Had a hard time separating the real from the stamped...it took quite a few years but I began to see funny images and I began to like them. I have a few images but not many.
Maybe I should pull some of those out the next time I sit at the stamp table!

The House Mouse stamps are cute! I can understand why people might hesitate to like them if they have mice. I had mice get in the house sometimes when I lived in the country. Hasn't been a problem in town, but I think having five cats probably has a lot to do with it! lol....
I too can share images and dies. They are more affordable to mail. I have many older SU and some Lawn Fawn images. Next time I stamp or cut I will post them! Now that I can scan, I can even post what they look like. Thanks to my IT son.
I understood Joan. I have mailed some diecuts in the past. Dies are so expensive that I don't buy many and when I do, it is the kind you can use a lot.
My husband drew the name of smileyj from the names for the die...I actually have your address from the MN thread so he will drop it in the mail tomorrow on his way to work!
Linda...the GKD images you will need to tell me what style you like...do you like images to color? Sentiments? Which season of images? I will put 5 images in an envelope but I will need you to pm me your address.
