Michael's ads

Has anyone signed up to receive the Michael's ads? Mine did not come in today's paper (argh!) so I looked online to make sure there is one this week. I noticed a "sign" saying that we can sign up to receive the ad via email. When I went to register, though, it only gives me the option to receive a notification when a new ad appears. Is this true, or do you actually receive the whole ad in your email? And, most importantly, does it include the coupon? Thanks for your help!

no it does not have the coupon in the online ad. you just get a notification email that lets you know there is a new ad on the website. you can see what happens to be on sale for the week but sadly there is no coupon...we just recently started getting the ads in with our grocery ads!...i just wonder how/why you get on their ad list besides taking the paper.....

We got their ad today in the paper. There is a 40% off coupon on the bottom of the front.

I signed up and I have gotten a few emails from them. Sounds like someone may have taken the ad out of your paper or forgot to put it in. I am sorry, I hope that you get the next one.

I know here in Canada that Michael's has started putting the coupon in the paper everyother week. In the flyer they will put two coupons. One for the current week and then one for the following week. Probably trying to cut down on the cost of sending flyers in the newspaper. Don't know if it's the same in the States but thought I'd mention it so you could try and watch and see.
