Count me in! I'm in the homestretch with my Christmas cards, have most presents bought, and most goodies baked and I'm not really feeling the Christmas spirit at the moment. A week on the beach away from it all sounds like a plan!
I'll go. I hate to say it but I have gotten to the point of dreading the holidays. I am the one to shop, make & send cards, wrap everything and then travel. What I want for Christmas is for someone else to do it all.

As MWDStamp said, it would be nice to at least have someone else do all the work (or help with it!) so Christmas wouldn't be such a chore.
Don't get me wrong - I love my DH but he seems to abdicate responsibility for Christmas these days. With 4 kids to buy for (and wrap!), I could use help.
I'm starting one, but not to go to Tahiti...although that sounds awesome! I just want to save slowly over the year so I don't have to struggle to afford everything in December.
I'll go with you NOW---it is -8 degrees in Wisconsin---blowing snow! We moved here from Houston, so a bit of a SHOCK!

I am in Wausau and YES it is FREEZING here! The Windchill is also -27 outside. BBBRRR
A warm beach vacation sounds fabulous!!! I want to go NOW also!
I have to go finish shopping tonight and I hate going out in the cold at night as I freeze even more!

I'm with ya'll!!
It's minus-something here (supposed to be 17 high before the wind chill today).
Just got the tree up last night and cards have been sent. BUT no baking done, still 2-3 gifts to make AND wrapping to-do.
Bleh - I'm not really feeling the Christmas spirit, either.
The other day my husband said he didn't like Christmas anymore. I asked why and his reply was it is too much work.
My reply:
Well you don't go gift shopping, don't wrap the gifts, don't make out the Christmas cards, do don't the grocery shopping or the cooking and baking, don't worry about stocking stuffers..........on and on
Me: So exactly is what so hard again about Chrismtas??
Him: It just is.

OMG! What is it with men and Christmas and it all being passed on us? I'm still baffled as to where I went wrong with that one. I had hubby write out a card to his Grams I have never met (and frankly don't want to) and he made this huge ordeal out of it. I told him since I wrote out the other 50, the least he could do was write one!
lol got to love em anyway Sammy...........I will say this is the same hubby that wanted me to have the Scrapbox for Christmas gift.....
who was I to argue.......of course I had to order it for him.......
I will now forgive him of all sins.

I'm in! But, do we have to wait until next Christmas? Can't we just go next month (sounds like some of you need to get out of the cold - brrrrrrr), stay the year and decorate a palm tree? I agree about the 4-year-old; the more of them the better!
