Default wrinkling xyron-- laminate problem??

I just got a xyron machine.. The 900 and spend several hours stamping an 8 1/2x 11 sheet of cardstock to use as a refrigerator write on wipe off calendar sheet.... Finally got it done and put it through the xyron and the laminate is wrinkled. There a wrinkled piece of xyron from one corner to the other... It's really ruined.. (and of course this was a project for a class tomorrow -- Last Minute Sal that I am I am just know working on it)..

Does anyone out there have any ideas what caused this or what I could do so that all my sheets don't come out wrinkled like this...

HTH--make sure that your laminate is running straight. If it isn't, you get the wrinkles. It does waste a bit, but run something thru and pull on the leading edge as it comes out. That should help straighten it out. Also, when you are cranking have your other hand pushing (apply pressure) the paper flat against the bottom of the laminate so that it forces it to go in flat and straight.

When I had this problem before, Xyron advised me to feed a thicker piece of cardboard in before. I had one roll that was really messed up, and they even sent me a replacement.

Hope you get it figured out. The laminate cartridges are the only ones that give me problems.

This happened to me when I got my Xyron 900. I tried and tried and never did get it straightened out! I emailed the company and they said they were going to send me a new roll. They never did. I got tired of wasting effort on it and finally bought a new roll. The new roll worked perfectly. I was very frustrated and disappointed at first, but now I love my Xyron!

Default Wrinkled laminate

I ruined a picture of my son he'd sent home from Iraq. Of course it was the only copy. I took mine back to the store where I purchased it. They replaced the cartridge, no questions asked.
