Oh Girls.........! It's April 1st!!! And I'm not thinking about April Fool's Day! I'm thinking about "Tomorrow, tomorrow" (got the song from "Annie" in my head this morning).
I had one of you ask a question about envies. I just read through all of this thread to see if we addressed the question of envies before and I don't see any reference to them. The question was: are you supposed to bring envelopes for your swap if your swap is a card. My answer is: it's up to you and either way is fine. I do have envies with my card projects but that doesn't mean everyone else has to. Right now I'm loving those clear envies and that's what I'm bringing.
My stress points this morning are: I only have one black stamp pad (didn't think to order another one and I've had two months to think about it). I want to leave this stamp pad at my station. So now I don't have one to use for the extra stamps. I'm worried I'll forget something.
I'm bringing my "boom box" (don't know what they're called these days). If any of you have cd's you'd like to listen to while stamping, bring them along. Otherwise we will listen to mine. Or we don't have to listen to anything.
The swap is what it is - too late for anything else. I hope it will be worth the drive for all of you.
Da Dum Da Dum, Dum, Dum, Da Dum Da Dum, Dum, Dum......
Getting ready for tomorrow... I think I have it together, is this right
1. Card to make (23) all supplies for this
2. Extra sets if you want to bring them
3. Troop card
4. Food item
5. Scrub pad, mist, and cutter for own use
6. Paper, ink pads if you want to do other stamping later.
Did I miss anything? If not, see you all tomorrow.
I am all geared to go! Wanna go nooooowwww!!!!!
Got all my swap stuff together last night...all in a basket. Hope that's okay.
Making my snack tonight and packing the rest of my stuff.
Bringing my camera - forgot that last time.
Kristina and I will be grabbing some caffeine before we hit the road tomorrow morning. We're both really excited!
Sue - I'll be bringing my black pad to use for images - you're welcome to borrow mine.

Danita - What a neat idea to put your stuff in a basket! I'm a real basket person. I've got our plasticware all in a basket. And the Grand Prize is in a basket.
Thank you for offering your black pad. I forgot that I do have a black Stazon - but they're kinda messy. Bring your envies that I'm buying from you, please. I just picked up ice for the cooler and some French Vanilla Coffee Mate.
Sue
Well, my poor Longaberger baskets were going unused in my den closet until I set up the stamp room. Now they're being put to good use!! My friend/LB demo is very pleased with me.
Thanks for the reminder of the envies...making a list of things so I don't forget!

See everyone in the morning!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You did so much for all of us. I had so much fun!!!! And I so enjoyed meeting all of you. Everyone had such wonderful card ideas, along with so many things that I haven't ventured to try before today!
Thank you everyone for such a great day! I can't wait until we do this again!
Sue, you are an amazing lady! You did such an awesome job getting this all together. I mean, even special holders for our napkin and silverware, amazing name tags, door prizes, placecards, and oh so much more. Thank you for making this happen and I hope we can do another one! You went above and beyond what was necessary, and next time you better charge us more to help defray your costs! I was glad to meet so many people and put names to faces. And all the new techniques I learned today was great. After I made my husband look at each project, he asked me how soon I was going to be shopping for marbles. LOL!
Kristina
Sue.... you are the BOMB! What a great day! You made each of us feel so special with all of the little extras! Jenny and I had a wonderful time and had so much fun meeting everyone! We can't wait for the next swap!
Thanks to everyone for the great projects and ideas!
Mornin' Girls,
Hope you all got rested up. My arthritis is speaking to me this morning but I don't care because yesterday was so WORTH IT. I've started another thread and put the group pic on there:
