Ok, I used my brayer in classic pixie pink ink pad and brayered onto glossy cardstock. I did this four times in about five minutes(probably less). when I ran my brayer under running water to clean it off(I do this immediantly after every use) the pink didn't come of. I tried rubbing it on a towel but that didn't help any.
Is there any way to get the pink off of the brayer?
Yeah, hmmm....that's really wierd. I have left ink in my brayer for a long time before cleaning (think stamp camp....) and it came out. I'd think dish washing soap would do the trick, cause you can clean your stampin scrub with that too.
Mine is permanently pink after brayering Pixie as well. I have not had any problems with it interfering with any other colors though. It's just stained that way. Since I have not had any probs, I really didn't worry about it, but I suppose I could try my yo-yo yellow and see if that removes the Pixie stain.
I'll do it and get back to ya!
My brayer is slightly stained from the red/pink ink pads. Seems to be something in the red dyes that has more 'staining' power than others.... everybody has someone (DH) who has ended up with pink boxers now & then, right? {:>) As long as you've cleaned it, it shouldn't bleed into other stamping projects.
