Ok...I've hit a crafting block! With teacher appreciation week closley approching....I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO MAKE!!! I did the cliboard thing and the Pringles cans AND the Frapp bottles....now I don't know what to make!! I was thinking totes for the female teachers with goodies like a cello baggie of gourmet coffee and some Pepperidge (sp?) Milano cookies in mint with a scrapable coffee mug and a Thank You card....but do you think it's too much? Maybe leave out the mug? Or make a "spa" tote? For the male teacher....I am BLANK for ideas!!!!! HELP!!! Any ideas or suggestions are MORE THAN WELCOME!!!
P.S. 2 are middle school teachers for my 5th grade DD (the females) and 1 is an elementary (2nd grade) teacher (the male) for my DS.
Ohhhhh...I so hope someone has some good ideas. Dd has a male teacher this year, too (5th grade) and I have NO ideas. We have given him several different gift cards for holidays and I feel like I am wearing that idea out...although, I guess gift cards never get old! I would like at least a cute way to give it to him that's a little more masculine, though.
im making the purse tins for both of my kids to take to school with dividers and a few cards in them.
I'm gonna have to take this idea a RUN with it! It's funny how I was actually thinking of the tin purses this morning and asked my husband...what should I make for the kids teachers...and he tells me...how 'bout those tin purses you make and a paint can for the male and add some "coffee or tea" stuff in it! Thanks to you all for the ideas....I wish I could have someone send ME a bottle of wine! ;) I had 5 pre-teen girls over last night making card with my DD and could have used a couple glasses...lol.
I am a 2nd grade teacher, and first, thank you all, for caring about us! Even though I am a stamper, I would enjoy a set of 4 note cards stamped by someone else. My hubby is a principal and he always needs "guy" cards to write a quick thank you. There is always the decorated paint can. I've made them for my son's teachers the past two years and they love them.
