Talking Giant Hershey bars

Has anyone done these for graduation? I haven't seen them but I know people who have made them but forgot to make a template or a picture. :(

I believe they made them for girl graduates & somehow cut out a rectangle that let the "HER" show through.

Is anyone getting this? LOL

TIA
Carol (Snooky)

I don't really know about the Hershey bar stamping project, but your post topic made me chuckle. A few years ago we purchased 5 lb Hershey bars at Sam's Club to put in gift baskets we made for the holidays. They were GIANT!

Default Big candy bar wrapper

This is not for graduation, but it is a big candy bar. I just took off the original outer wrapper to get the dimensions. Cut cardstock to that size & stamped -- re-wrapped -- Voila!

I used www.jersgirl.com site to get a candy bar template, there are several on her site--

I did "Have a sweet summer" via computer and then stamped the wrapper with Shore Thing.

I put a $5 Starbucks card with them for teacher end of year gifts.

Thanks for all your help. Yes, THAT would be a big Hershey. LOL

This one used the HER in Hershey. I really need to see it to be able to tell. I have done the regular ones. When I was a demonstrator those were REALLY a big hit for teachers, bus drivers, showers, etc. So many ways to make them cute. But i used the text weight. CS was harder to handle. IMO.

Hoping someone has done that candy bar.

I did some of these years ago for DD #1's family birth announcements, except I used the "she" instead of the "her". If I remember right, I used the wrapper to get dimensions, then had to look thru the typing paper I used for the template to see where I had to cut out for the letters, then used an X-acto knife to cut the paper. I also put her "Vitals" on the wrapper. DD #1 is now almost 11, so the details are vague, and this was way before I got into stamping!

Goos luck!
