ed..but i'm a bit puzzled.:confused: .is that all i get for my money..is to just look through the DD's gallery??.. not that there aren't sum beautiful cards in there.. But i thought i would get sum tips n diff. techniques.. sum of the cards don even have recipes.. am i not enabled yet for anything else? i paid w/paypal..thx for any replies..

Thx Shanon..i appreciate that too..but uploads are usually approved within the hour anyway..i'm not trying to be unappreciative but sry ..was hoping for a little more..lol.. From what i had read on other posts from fan members..that we get more tips n techniques..sort of a "special veiwing" you cud say..lol..well i did sign for the year any am glad the money is going to a good cause..But i also do appreciate all the beautiful cards in the regular gallery also..there are sum awesome artists out there..Don't you think?
But i'm not sry i joined..if only to show my appreciation for all the clubs hard work and time they put in here..thx..

Hey Shanon......just dropping in to say "HI"......I'm Rachel's friend from Michigan! I miss her.....she's in Vegas, but I get to babysit "Maisy"......I just love this dog.....she's my little girl and I spoil her while she's here.....but my other 2 pups don't like it very much! Plus, my mom also dropped her 2 dogs off today, cause they went to Canada for the weekend. So needless to say, I have 5 dogs here.....at least they are all little pups! Hope all is well with you!!
I am sooooooooooo jealous. I LOVE Maisy. Isn't she the cutest weiner EVA! Rachel is having a blast. It stinks tho, cuz I was in AZ last wknd and only a 5hr drive and 45min. flight from Rache and Brookie. :(

The fan club is so awesome! The stampers who are part of that DD team are so hot! And, it's a way for SCS to not HAVE to charge us for membership plus, I am notorious for uploading on Sunday. It's my only day off. I love that I can do that with my membership
I can't imagine what it costs to run this thing. My little silly blog costs a fortune because of the amount views it gets. (Nothing compared to this site, obviously!) You usually pay by bandwidth. Everytime someone clicks on your site and moves around to view pictures and articles, that uses bandwidth. This site has to use sooooo much bandwidth that I can't imagine how they could do it without advertisers and fan club memberships. Even then, I still think it costs them money. So, they've come up with a very creative way to give people something extra for making that donation instead of charging them a yearly fee.
I pay to belong to a few other groups that provide about half of the info you get here.
In my opinion, SCS is the biggest deal around so if you haven't become a fanclub member- run, don't walk, over there and sign up!

That's true, Gail. It sounds like a lot of people weren't aware of the fan club. This thread has raised some awareness. Hope lots more people join!

I'm a FAN CLUB member. It's a small price to donate for a BIG resource to support my hobby. The designs in the FC gallery are to die for. I enjoy viewing them each month even though I know I don't have the talent to dare to be inspired by them. The FC forum is awesome, for sure - I wish they would post new stuff in there more frequently to lure us to visit it more often. If you are browsing this forum, PLEASE consider a donation to this site. It is so worth it!

OK so I've been a member of SCS for almost 2 years now and I've never joined the fan club. I didn't feel the need because just looking at all the regular threads was more than I could handle but, after reading your post I decided to take the plunge. I only did the 6 months to start with. It will be nice to see all the card and not have a pop up come up to say I don't have permission. Now I do.......;)

The money spent on the fan club membership is the BEST money spent! I no longer subscribe to any magazines because the cards here are awesome and there is no reason to go anywhere else. A day without SCS is just plain boring!!! But then again there is all the money I've spent because of this site because I just had to have something that I saw here!!! Thanks SCS for all you do and that includes the enabling!!!!!

We're so glad you enjoy the Fan Club (a.k.a. "DD") Gallery and accompanying Forum (which is actually more like a pattern/template/instruction library--not an interactive forum), too!
Fan Club Members can find this Forum located near the bottom of the Main Forum Index Page.
The DDD try to always link back from a project uploaded in the gallery, to the pattern housed in the Fan Club Forum (if they've chosen to donate it, and if it is not the copyright protected pattern of another/from a book, etc.). They also try to cross-reference a link from the pattern in the forum, back to the finished project in the gallery, too.

anyone? All I see are 4 sticky threads posted by Julie HRR, but no patterns or templates. Can anyone point me in the right direction?:confused:
Scroll down the page further, and look for the ones that are flagged with green arrow or "page of text" icons.
The patterns are actually attachments to their forum posts, and won't be visible until you first click on a post, then click on the downloadable template, which will more than likely be in a pdf format.
