As someone else mentioned, start with the paper assortment pack. This is what I did and it gave me a good sense of which colors I would like. I ended up buying all the stamp pads, but don't use True Thyme or Cranberry Crisp much. I used the Vintage Violet ink and paper on my Christmas cards... One thing I'd be sure to get is the Cool Caribbean paper, it's gorgeous!
