ah this year I am woe-fully "behind" as far as what I signed up for with the Christmas card challenge quota (4 a month) and hoping to start turning that back around soon on the Christmas cards to do list. ( but, I am mostly at this point in the year doing one of a kind and things that fit challenges that head to the booth, and I don't really need a huge number of those kind this particular year so, its not a stress thing to not have been making a pile yet)
Ha - I was just saying to DH earlier that I was badly behind and needed to get going. I'm not signed up to any of the Christmas card challenges but for the last few years I've kept on target for four a month. This year I fell off the wagon when I was sick earlier in the year, and I'm with Stacy, woefully behind.
I was just looking at the WT themes for the rest of this month, I might be able to work one of them into a Christmas design and knock out four.
Color challenge is up and it's sooo pretty! Two shades of pink, I guess I would love that wouldn't I?! Ha!
The Teapot challenge is a fun destination and theme this week! Check it out. I actally have a partial card made which I just might make into a birthday card for the challenge later today!
I don't know where the time goes but, holy cow its already (close) to time for the next VSN ( which happens on this coming friday)
the chatter thread for that is found here.
Add me to the list of those WAY behind on my Christmas cards - I know I signed up to do either 4 or 5 per month and I've probably only completed around 8 cards : (. I'm gonna be hurting come December if I don't kick it into gear.
Love today's sketch and yesterday's colors but I've been running non-stop for the past two days. No time for stamping tomorrow either since it's the 4th. Happy Independence Day to all those in the U.S.!

I probably have a metric ton of striped paper its right up there with plaids for me as a print I will pick up when I used to buy a ton of papers... but, I really like how that stencil gives it such a controlled painted on look on your card Angie.
TheFree For All Challenge is up! I am your smiling hostess this week and I have chosen to focus on silhouettes! I have even linked a few tutorials you might not have tried. Stop by and take a look, then come back here and tell us if you have used any of them before. If you feel like it, post a link!
I am getting ready for tonight's VSN. I didn't finish all the samples I wanted to make. Maybe I can combine with the F4A or MIX. Though I admit, when combining challenges, I often take longer than a VSN-hour. ;)
My space is still a crazy mess. I start cleaning up, then I run into something and I think oh look I can use this now. Anything to avoid clean-up! LOL

I was stuck on a vsn challenge & then Angie posted her challenge last night. I woke up with an idea, so I’ll combine the two of those. Thanks Angie!!
I think I can squeak one of the peeks into one of the DD Christmas cards... so, I am hoping to finish it today and then will just wait for it to be live.
I am so disoriented - four days in a row in work, and then I had today off so it felt like Saturday, and I keep having to tell myself it's Friday. I enjoyed playing in the MIX...then it was time to make DH's birthday cake, and now it's time to go and have a slice with a cup of tea.
Kim, my desk was shipshape when we went on holidays - four cards this week and it's a disaster area again.

It's amazing how many things you find out you have on the floor with a puppy down there
I have been cleaning errr moving things off the floor.
eta that is a stash of bubble envelopes that came to me in the mail that I chop up for cushions inside lumpy cards... (and cardboard/chipboard)
We are in for a treat this week. Lee Ann Barret is our featured stamper. The only issue we will have is that we will get lost in her gallery and have a difficult time choosing what to CASE! Have fun everyone!
Happy Monday everyone. Who had the chance to play along with VSN this weekend? There is still plenty of time. We have an entire week to upload our creations!
We haven't had a question in awhile Let's chat about VSN.
I can't remember if I have ever asked this before but since I can't remember it didn't happen, right?
Have you ever played in a VSN before?
Did you play this weekend?
Do you remember your first VSN?
If you have played along what is your favorite thing about VSN?
I completed two VSN card yesterday. Last year was my first year to give this a try. I like that it is spread out and I do not have to work every challenge in two days. I will not be a Virtuoso, but will probably complete several of the challenge ideas. My favorite part is that my inhibitions are gone, in that I think of something and work quickly. The Elvis ideas are a different and fun. Who knows what I will do with a pink and black card with microphones and records all over it.
