New Year's Eve 10p.m. Challenge - Vellum Tuck In
Ever done a Vellum Tuck In? Me neither until yesterday. I'm attaching a link to a web site where you'll find the directions. Please make a thank you card using any supplies and images you want. The Tuck In is very simple and is sort of a pocket. You'll probably want to dry your vellum with the heat gun - be careful not to burn the vellum like I did. If you don't have vellum you can use a lightweight paper.
Oh, and remember when uploading to the gallery on Monday, please put NYEC10 in the keyword box. Thanks bunches if you were able to stay awake for this one!;)

I love this tuck in, I have a question though, not to be so difficult.... how many pieces of square vellum does it take? Thanks
O and if there's anyone here in Atlantic Canada - Happy New Year!!

One square - I think the one I did was 4 1/2" square. HTH.

I guess I don't get it. How big is the first square of vellum to be able to fold it that many times?

It's just one square folded in half and then folded in half again - 4 1/2" to begin with.

Wow, that is a cool technique - I just added that link to my favorties. I'm just "watching" tonight. I am trying to finish up some cards for a birthday present - so I told myself that I couldn't play until i was done. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able too. Everything tonight has been great!!

Love the concept here, but I'm going to have to sit this one out until tomorrow. I've got just about 30 minutes to go before midnight so I'm going to go ring in 2006 with my family.

Really liked your tuck in - or pocket as I seem to be calling them - what stamp did you use on the vellum? Very pretty.

Teri - love your snowpeople. Did you stamp on your vellum or did it already have a pattern?

I couldn't find any plain vellum, so I used patterned. I'm liking this cute little pocket technique!
