Everyones creation is soooooo cute. Love that bouquet of flowers Jodygirl and badmom I about fell out of my chair.......you actually made a card instead of just being a smartypants on the side!
Teri - love your snowpeople. Did you stamp on your vellum or did it already have a pattern?
I stamped it with White craft. I should have thought to use patterned vellum, but I'm very literal, so I took a piece of vellum and stamped on it, like the directions said!
I'm feeling a bit shaky (working with some pain still) but I HAD TO try this. Stamped the vellum with canvas BG on one side, a flowery type BG on the other. Used the same stamps for the layer. Little leaf on the green is fro Toile Blossoms. Little green tag says "Prayer." I have a friend who really needs this one right now.
Looks like way too much ribbon on the 'puter screen. Looks better in person.
I hope everyone likes this better than my camera did! I had the hardest time getting a decent pic. I'll try taking another pic tomorrow in daylight. For now, here it is!
(I used patterned paper instead of vellum.)
Cute cards, Ladies! Love the way the tucked vellum makes such a quick and easy little pocket. I'm just resting now for the beginning of this new year, but loving watching what you are all doing. I can't wait to try this technique.
Here's mine! Everyone's cards are so pretty! I had some issues figuring out how to fold it at first, but then I got the hang of it. I used one-sided patterned paper, since I am out of vellum.
I had to come back and look at everyones again, I can't get over how cute they all are and what a fun technique. I see myself needing a 12 step program for this now too! This sure was a hit Susie!

Using the patterned paper gave it a really cool look - sort of like a white outline on 2 of the layers. I think I'll have to try it.
Okay, I messed up and tried to use craft ink and heat set, but it wouldn't dry. So, here it is better late than never. I need to work on the vleeum a little better. I didn't like the way it turned out.
