I think I posted in the wrong catagory so I'm gonna copy here (sorry!!! I went to techniques the first time - had to go back and read the guidelines.)
Can anyone tell me briefly how they make covers for those little purse calendars? I am just wondering 2 things really:
1. Do you just cover the outside of the calendar or do you make the outside a little bigger and then glue the extra to the inside of the covers?
2. What kind of glue do you use to keep the new cover stuck to the calendar?
TIA - just picked up 4 calendars to make some Christmas gifts for a few friends with really unusual first names (so they LOVE receiving gifts with their names on them!)

P.S. I did search for the instructions before posting here but only found a couple of pictures of calendars - no actual guidelines.
Sorry, haven't done this myself. In thinking about it I would...
* use heavy cardstock for durability
* cut it a tiny bit larger than the original
* trim the edges even after glueing it on.
I noticed that several purse calendars in the gallery are made with the clear plastic covering. May be a slightly different process on those.
Are you talking about the ones that look like check book covers? If so, I just cut my CS to fit and then stamp, decorate etc and slip it into the cover. I don't attach the calendar to the stamped CS. That way when the calendar expires you can just change the calendar and still keep the stamped piece.
