I guess putting in the alternative image wouldn't work for SU....
I believe there's a suggestion box on the customer side of the SU site. They really DO like to hear ideas from customers for new stamp sets. What could it hurt to tell them what you want?
If there isn't one, perhaps you could ask your demo to enter your idea on the demo side, because I know there's one there.
Somewhere, probably on here, I read that this would be unlikely as Shelly and company are Mormons.
Yup...I'd seen the same thread...that is why I put down "I know that I am dreaming". ;) My paternal grandma was very strict mormon and don't think she even had caffeinated products in her house. To each their own of course. Needless to say...I gravitated more toward my maternal grandma who loved TEA as do I. I did come across a couple neat UM sets at Rubber Rama last year...might have to order those up sometime!

I love reading these threads because while I don't have any suggestions myself, I always see alot of stamp set suggestions that I think would be great to have. Thank you all for getting the wheels turning.
More sets for men. My husband is not into sports or fishing. Don't really have a suggestion for this, just would love to see what they could come up with to make a masculine set. I have so many flowers! He loves arcitecture, maybe an arcitecture set with the drawing implements...bridges! My mom would even love those!

Although SU *has* had coffee sets. Mebbe all the coffee y'all are stamping with Espresso Yourself is decaf! Or maybe coffee is lower on the bad list than liquor.
I would also like a classy martini set. I've read the same thing re: the company & being Mormon but, they include Hebrew Holidays in their sets. They may be Mormon but, I would guess the majority of their buying public is not.
I love the martini idea but I doubt SU will go in that direction, but I don't know they have the little olive and martini glass in a set. I'm am Buddist, and I do remember seeing some Buddah like images in a set before, I'm blanking on the name.

I would love to see some more Stamp set for the Railroad. as my Dh works for the railroad.
Different Tools, More Ford Trucks,
Racing Stamps More Nascar.
Guy related STAMPS!!!!!!
And this would be for not just Stampin' Up catalog but for The Angel Company too!!!

Stampin Up IS a business - business comes first - Stampin Up isn't in the business of 'promoting' the religion of their owners - this kind of comment always irritates me.

I'm with yall on the "more male sets"! My DH and DS are cyclists - so I'd love to see some bicycles - they are also both musicians so how about some real instruments...not those cartoony looking ones! I do have to say though, that SU sure knows what stamp sets to make to get me to buy!!
More sets for boys/girls, SU sets tend to be very cute/babyish and my 7 year old son and his friends would scream in horror at Ahoy Matey or Circus Train. Not much for teenage boy/girls either. I would like a soccer set that is less cute and doesn't mention the word soccer as I am British and I call it football.

Ethical businesses do not promote or buy advertising for practices that go against their ethics and morals. I own a business but will not allow cigarettes to be sold as part of that business. I also will not allow anything that might promote premarital sex or violence. "It's business" is not an excuse to be two faced.
Back to the subject at hand. I would love to see a set to congratulate new grandparents and new siblings. I would love to see a set for people into books and literature. I would love to see a birthday set aimed at the over 50 age group. I would love to see a set for sick people who WON'T get well (cancer, brain damage, children born with birth defects) that offers comfort. I would love to see a set with sentiments for people who have things like loss of job, car accident, and other rough things. I like to send "encouragement" style cards and find so few appropriate things to use for these. I would like to see more 50's style sets. Definitely more masculine, especially for older male teens. I would love to see sets for yoga and drama and the arts. I would like to see more career sets like for people in the medical profession and others. I would like to see a llama set and a snow skiing set. A set for people in a band would be nice. I could go on and on, but I won't

this is probably true of small business but not corporations.... whatever - SU already has coffee cup stamps. I think this is a rumor that got started and just keeps circulating about SU - show me a quote from SU or Shelley that says SU will only promote LDS lifestyles.

I sort of wondered about that too. I don't think religion has anything to do with it. Maybe they need a certain number of requests to consider adding a particular stamp set.
I'd like a set for astrophysicists and string theorists, too. They make cute diagrams for their theories; I guess I could just attack one of DH's textbooks and go crazy on the scanner. Mostly something fit or funny for academics or male academics. I love floral sets but 2 or 3 is my max for usefulness.
I am only going to say YES!! So well said. Thank You.

No you won't find anything like that in the TAC catalog as Mischelle is a Christian. And I don't think she drinks.
I just bought a TAC set with two wine or champagne glasses clinking together. It's called "Cheers." BTW, Our Pastor is Christian and he had a beer at our church's 30th anniversary dinner. And, the Catholic Church down the street just had an outdoor event with a beer tent. Even Jesus turned water into wine! LOL
Just kidding, not trying to start anything. Everyone should do what feels comfortable to them. Just being a bit of a jokester. Hope you're all laughing WITH me! (Must be the wine.)
