Bonnie H...got your card!! Absolutely gorgeous!! I am so CASEing that one! ;) Ironically enough, I sent you one the day before, so they crossed in the mail! Mail from here does take at least a week, so be on the lookout!
I also got cards out to all the newbies from the updated list and Sept birthdays. Now I just need to respond to my stack of cards!! Hopefully I can do that on the train/airplane!
May I be selfish and ask that you think of me for safe travels? The typhoon is heading our way. I have to ride the bullet train to Tokyo and that can be scary with high winds! (So can can airplane ride, so either way I am a little freaked out!!) Ugh...anyway...Thanks ladies!
We will DEFINITELY keep you in our thoughts & in our prayers. Just think about your friend and Archivers. LOL
Nyoka, you are soooooooo welcome. Gotta do something with those little scraps of paper. The middle one was embossed paper from Mikes & hate to just throw it away.
Just wanted to Thank Dee, Carol, Crystal for your wonderful cards. I sure need a cutterbug. Love the VW Crystal...used to have one sure wished I had of keep it now...great on gas..lol

I'm not sure where I should be posting this, so sorry if its in the wrong forum.
I was wondering if there is any kind of card swaping Pen Pals out there, I love making cards and send alot to family and friends, but don't ever recieve any back. I would love to find someone that would just like to send and recieve cards. Anybe a card a month. I have thought of joining swaps, but for most of them you have to make so many card at a certain time. I have a friend that is also interested in finding something like this.

Hey, glad you're feeling better and back with us, sorry to hear about SIL Mom I lost my Dad couple years ago and as much as I hated to lose him I also hated him living the way he did but we knew it was coming and was able to tell him just how much we loved him and how much he would be missed and he died peacefully in his sleep one night. :( :( Enough of that, take your time and take care of yourself and hurry up and get better !!!!!

I will keep you all upto date witk my sil mom condition. It's nice to know that therer are still people out there that do care about others even miles away that we are. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks for all the warm wishes!! I am anxious to see how Tokyo is doing...the storm is heading there now! Hope it peeters out by the time it gets here! Oh, what fun!! ;) For kicks and grins, if you want to see the storm track, you can click here. We live in the Northern part of the big main island, approximately 400 miles north of Tokyo. If you look at the map, the eye of the storm is heading right smack-dab into Tokyo.
Wow! You gals were busy posting today! Steff, prayers for your family. I hope they can control her pain a little better. That is so stressful...
Anyway, on a happy note, thanks to Karan, Lesley, Leann, Marilyn, and Debbie!! Such great cards!!!
If I don't post before I leave, talk to you all again in a few weeks!!
Siobhan my prayers are with you, hope it peeters out too. I went through a hurrican once and scared the life out of me. Can't imagine what your going through.
Glad your feeling better Steff and my prayers are with you and your sil mom.
I've lost 3 family members to that, so I know what you all are going through. It's so hard to see anyone have that much pain and you know you can't do a thing for them.
Leann thanks for the wonderful card, what a cute idea with the punchs.
Thank you Nyoka for the pretty b-day card. I love the technique you used on the leaf..Was it glossy paper or something else..It really made my day too. I was feeling rather crumpy today.
