This challenge has been SO MUCH FUN, Jen! THANK YOU!!! Except for sleeping, it's pretty much all I've been doing for the last 24 hours. Here are my finished items:
I'm one of the guilty parties. I used 2 different patterned papers on a couple of my cards... . I tried to follow the rules, I really did... the patterned paper question was asked afer I was 75% done with the challenge.
Jen, after looking at my submission and if you decide to DQ me based on being an idiot, that's o.k. Just let me know soon enough that I can try again.
P.S. I didn't do this for the contest, I did it because I wanted to have FUN, and I did
I'll let you decide if you want to submit this one or another one. ;)
Wow - what a blast, Jen!! I must admit, I'm exhausted, but I'm done. I used 1 stamp set, 1 bg and sentiments. This was my first OSW and I was so surprised at how many things you can get out of 1 sheet of 12x12! I tried to be creative using several techniques, but after looking at some of the others already posted... well, let's just say mine is OK. Thanks for a great challenge, Jen - can't wait to try this again!!
i have a question. if we have the membership we can upload on sunday right? isn't that an incentive to get the membership? this question came up a few days ago in the forum and a SDD said it was cool.. i wish there was something IN WRITING about this somewhere...

WOW!!! Everyone's entries are absolutely stunning! I'm not playing (mostly because I can't make anything but a card), but I love seeing what everyone else is doing. I am so impressed!!!

Where Jenn Balcer says it is ok for Fan Club members to upload on Sundays (since we have instant approval) as long as they categorize the uploads properly. HTH.

Why can't you make anything besides a card? There are tons of simple non-card items you can make. Jump on in and play!!!!!
I have had a blast doing this challenge. I have one little coluzzle cut out piece of paper left and just didn't have the energy to make one more thing. Here are my entries:
I've seen a lot of awesome work as I've worked my way through this thread. I guess it's true that people work harder when the challenge is harder. I think the REAL challenge is going to be when we start voting on the finalists come Monday night!

My set was wiped from the gallery! I'll upload again, but those of you who were kind enough to comment, please do so again. I was notified that I had comments, but there is no picture there anymore! Thanks
Jen! This challenge ROCKS! I am going to go and sit in front of a movie after a long busy day and stamp my little heart out....AND use my one sheet of PP. YIPEE I love a good challenge! Thank you kindly JEN and Jami (for the idea)!
Oh Jami I am posting a direct link to Jenn's post...I am not big on searching through tons of posts so this is just easier for me...thought it might help someone else as well...
Jen, what a great challenge! I am loving all the incredible creations already done for this and I loved working on mine. Although it has been said before, it is amazing how many pieces can be made from a single sheet of pattern paper. I made scrapbook pages as my non-card projects. I used Lexicon of Love, Genuine Articles and Newsprint Alpha - so I don't know if those qualify or not for the 2+1 stamp sets, however, that is here nor there, as I am so happy to have gotten all of these pages DONE!! THANK YOU!!

I was really burnin' rubber today...a regular marathon. Once I got started I didn't want to stop...worked right through lunch even. I bought the last piece of this paper at the sale at JoAnn's last week and loved the rich fall colors. It had a border top and bottom than matched up to Bravo Burgundy.
I just wanted to say great job on the challenge ladies! I'm not able to participate this weekend but I have enjoyed viewing all the posts in the gallery so far! Keep 'em comin!!! Awesome work, as usual!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas and creations!
Thanks for all the continued support! I just want to clarify something... I'm not leaving the LSC... I just need to reevaluate the holiday weekend thing. Maybe restructure it or detach it from the LSC. Not sure. But I'm still here for the weekly challenge.
What I am leaving is VSN, at least for awhile. And I'm looking for a replacement for the CC RAK group. I knew that this school year would be stressful. Now with DS's new health issues, I really need to take a break away from some things. Although the negativity is a small percentage, it does take its toll and my family needs to have more of my time right now. I'm just sorry that I let my frustration show.
Thank you all for playing and helping this weekend be fun. You are making wonderful cards and projects! I am so IMPRESSED! All of this has been worth it when I read how happy you are with your creations! And I love reading how surprised you are with how long the paper lasts. I remember feeling the same way!
Thanks, Jen, for all you do with the challenges. And thanks, too, for your encouragement. This challenge has really stretched my creativity and was so much fun to do!
I pray for improved health for your son and less stress for you. Life as a Mom is not always easy. My kids are grown, but as my Mom once said, you never stop being a Mom.
OK, just got home and jumped on to upload before it gets any later! I really enjoyed this challenge and love that I was able to make so many things from one sheet of 80 cent paper! You'll see my tiny leftover scrap in the group photo! Thanks for looking!

Well, Jen, wondered if you could top your past holiday challenges and think you hit a high note with this one! I have never done a OSW and I can't believe I used every piece. The only little strip left got stuck on the HB card. I have been in a total stamping funk lately, and even debated trying this. I have been hanging on to this one sheet wanting to do a sunflower gift set for a friend and this forced me to start cutting. This was one challenge where MEASURE TWICE, CUT ONCE was the key!! Thanks for all the fun and inspiration you share with us and please don't be discouraged by any negativity from a very small minority. Here's my OSW:
anyone still up?? how do you do a pocket card?? there's a thread in the gallery, but no tutorial. i want to do one, but don't want to mess up my paper trying to get it right?? help??? anyone???
Hi Jazzytobi; for the pocket card I did, I cut a piece of card stock in half the long way so it was 11 by 4.25; fold it in half, then fold the top front edge down about an inch; I use either double sided tape or sticky strip to hold the sides down; just use a narrow one as it determines how wide the insert can be! HTH!

Ok, I think I've commented on all the completed sets so far and I am BEAT! This feels like VSN but I just can't stop looking; so many great ideas and different projects! Goodnight ladies, can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

I just want everyone to see that it is possible to do this challenge without a digital camera, I am not actually finished but don't want anyone to be discouraged because you can make flat stuff that is cool. Click to see>Everything Flat on the Scanner-no Digital Camera needed!

So 1 hour looking and playing with my photo program, 1 hour nap from my head hurting from looking at my program, and 1 hour to try, try again....the way I see it Rox, you could be at my house by then to help me. Oh, and you might as well bring your 12 x 12 paper with you and we will work on Jen and Jami's awesome challenge idea together !
Can we get some photos of this...one napping, one with a headache, one looking, one playing, and one trying again....lamo
