Here's my not-so-great attempt. For those of you who color well...SHOW ME HOW! This is a great challenge for me because I have a 7 week old who feels that my attention should be hers 27/7. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Great challenge! I guess this would be a good time to use up some of the images I stamped when playing around with various new sets!

Okay--I "cheated" by using a pre-stamped background, and already colored image! But it sure went together quick! I guess my own time-saving hint is to stamp extra images, and sentiments, and keep them in a little photo album(the cheap $1 kind from JoAnn's). Pretty printed papers speed things along, too! Don't start your timer until you have an idea in your head!
That's a good tip!! I think that's where my biggest problem is! I try to think of something AND get it done in a short amount of time! My other problem would have to be a lack of space! Someday I'll have a designated stamp room, closet, or even corner!! ;)

I love that idea of keeping them in a little photo album! I just throw mine in my scraps box and only find them when I'm digging for something else! Thanks for the tip!;)

Great challenge..I REALLY should not be stamping..but I threw in a load of laundry and whipped these up. Been thinking about using this bunny since I dug it out a few days ago.
Scanner doesn’t like the buttons on the second card, so the colors are not true.
My tip:I stamp an entire sheet with an image, color it at my leisure, then cut up, and run through my Xyron, then I have images to whip up a card on a moments notice.
Ok ladies...just happened to check back in and what am I doing wrong in my uploading?!!! Everyone else's cards seem to be approved right away!! Maybe this is a sign that I need to back off this addiction?!! Oh well, now off to look and make comments on everyone else's cards! (I can quit this site anytime that I want too.....really.....just not today!!)
What a great challenge Jen. That's me to a "T". Always rushing to get a card done at the last minute! Off I go. Be right back! Oh by the way, it's all your fault we don't have a morning coffee stalkers thread. lol!Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Jen did you include interuptions for children in that 20 min deadline?
Pause the timer for the kids ;-)
I'm so glad everyone's liking this challenge. I was a little worried about it!

It's not possible to quit the SCS addiction anymore than you can quit stampin ;-) Hope your card is approved soon. Sorry about the delay.

Coast to Coast makes just about the fastest card there is!
I am so bad tho. I will take an hour and just cut paper. I have 30-50 prefolded cards in all colors at any given time. I have a bunch of pieces to mat with pre-cut in all colors. I have preprinted papers that are precut. When i'm ready to stamp i like to be able to just sit down and start stamping without having to cut and trim first. It is wonderful! lol
This is my first challenge. I've uploaded my card to the gallery but don't know how to post a link to it. I clicked on where Jen said to go get instructions but got Page "Cannot Be Found" message. Looked on the Home page and couldn't find anything. May have overlooked it? If someone would please give me some EASY instruction on how to post a link, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advace.

TIP: Pre-cut some of your card stock into 1/2 sheets & 1/4 sheets. You can also pre-score & fold the 1/2 sheets, so they are ready to use as a card base. Another (I'm still working on this one) is to organize your scraps, so they are handy & easy to use.
PLEEEESE, let me know when get a good system for organizing scraps. I really need help in that area. Right now, all I do with mine is put them in the folder with it's same color.
Thanks for doing this Jen. Between this challenge and my first VSN I realized how fast I CAN come up with a card. Never thought about it much before, but figured if I wanted to make a "good" card, I would have to set aside a chunk of time. (I guess the chunk part comes in for the interruptions where living interrupts my creative juices.) Here's mine:
Great challenge Jen, I'll probably post a couple more to this thread - lots of guy b-day's this week!! Plus I really need to work on "quick", it's a tough concept to
get a handle on!!
I'm new to the Challenges (but 2nd today!), so just trying it out. I need to build up my "just because" card supply, and this will be a great way to do it! I need a jump start...
Oh my... I haven't stamped in WEEKS! I've been in Grad School and then the holiday mania so it felt great to jump back in. (I was having major withdrawal from ink fumes!)
Anyway, I saw this one a while ago and had it on my mind to make but I can't find the link!!!! Grrr! It only took me a few minutes to make but I've wasted tons of time now looking for the original! Please PM me if you know what it is.
I don't have a birdie stamp so I had to hand draw it!
