Well ladies a lot has gone on since the middle of last week. Just returned from my trip and my head is spinning with all of the new goings on in this thread. The answer is yes, I'll blog about the class with Michelle Zindorf very soon.
I like the idea of having a name for our group and the choices are great! I voted Sue. I know how things can get lost in a thread when its moving. Thanks for posting the poll!
Since I have missed so many days of posts, would you please send me a pm with your facebook info if you are interested in getting together there for chats etc....That would help me get organized quicker. Going through about 50 emails for each day I was gone is no fun!!!!!!!!! : (

One thing I forgot to mention....You will need an embossing plate or embossing folder and a die cut/embossing machine for the April 22 challenge. Hand embossing will not work for this challenge. Please contact me via email or pm if you wish to participate. I will send you the material that you will need for this challenge. So has that got you wondering yet???

I was really tired when I posted this so let me clarify things. If you have an embossing plate or folder and a machine you will be able to do your own thing for the challenge.
If you do not have these supplies then contact me via email or pm and I will make arrangements to send you what you need for the challenge. This way everyone can participate if they desire. :-D
Thanks Jennifer for bringing this blunder to my attention.;) I think I just drove too much yesterday and was really tired by the time I posted. I already have some of this done and would be happy to send you what you will need if you want to play along!
Please, Oh, Please let's not have our name with the word Diva's in it! I used to associate with a group that had that "word" in the name and the let's say, the so called leader of the group was less than savory! I just can't get myself to even say it, it's like a 4 letter swear word to me!

Question for you Ladies.....does anyone know a good way/place to sell a computer.I have one that is 2 yrs. old w/all kinds of programs. Nothing wrong with it. Just do not have room! Any suggestions?? TIA:confused:

Hi amy. It's difficult for me to answer this because I respect everyone's opinion and feelings. I am truly sorry that this creates bad memories for you but, I need to go with what the majority has voted for. Which happens to be this name. *sigh* May I just suggest something? First off you are a wonderful person and better off for not being associated with this "less than savory" group. I've unfortunately had my experience with this too and it's not fun. BUT!! why don't we give this a chance to turn this Diva word into one that we can admire and be proud of. We have a wonderful group of people here and we CAN make a difference with this group name. I'm sure of it. In fact! what we COULD do is make diva into an acronym.....how about D.I.V.A.s-Divine, Inspirational, Virtuous, Anointed would that work out better for you? because it looks like this is going to be our new name.

Hey katy! my suggestion would be to use your local Craig's List first. Have you ever done this? perhaps call a local pawn shop or maybe do a search online for your particular brand of computer to see what the value is worth and then go from there. I would be hesitant to do e-bay because you'll have to take in account the shipping and handling charges. If you just type in Craig's List for your particular city in google, it should come up. I would suggest including a photograph of the computer and various other items you plan to sell along with it. Good luck and let me know what you decide!

Hey Sue, I'm not wild about the name Diva either because of the way Diva celebs act but I like D.I.V.A. so how about we use it this way (D.I.V.A.) and not this way (Diva) on our blogs? :cool:

I really like how you ladies are thinking D.I.V.A. is really great, because it stands for such positive words that really describe our group of ladies.

I'm really not that particular - whatever the rest of you ladies decide on I'm good with - but I do think the name should reflect what a talented group of women we have here.

Sue, you're so sweet! You are right about getting away from that group - it (and mostly it's dictator) was a vicious contradiction of everything I am. I had never been involved in such ugly unkindness (even in high school!) that woman brought on so many!
Whatever the group decides is all good. Afterall, it's just a name. I would probably just use the acronym words instead of it's abbreviations!
You all are awesome, I'm always inspired by all you do! :-D
