I would say that as long as each company has an angel policy, it would be okay to put it all in one spot, as long as it applies.
I would also say that if you are selling sets, to put the correcsponding policy in each set so that the person buying knows which company the stamp came from...
Hello Ladies,
I am about to go blog hopping and see what you are all up to.
Now who am I,this new Aussie "sheila"?
Retired from primary teaching, which I loved and now with my own business "Time To Create" teaching again, paper and memory crafts. I get a buzz seeing ladies develop confidence in what they do. My problem is always wanting to do too much.
I also live in an idyllic part of Australia and we have a small orchid and Bromeliad Nursery _ Idyll Hours.
As part of Time To Create I design and make limited edition paper craft embellishments.
As you can imagine there are very few idle moments in my busy life.
I am excited about my contribution to your group and I am now off to zoom about amongst you.
Thank you to those who have visited my blog. I love your comments and positiveness.

I think that I will use a couple of them now and save a couple for the Spring....And, I think the little jar one will be something they make their parents/grands....
All the ideas were so cute. Not really sure which ones I will chose for now- probably have the boys chose!!
Lets talk photography. I think I do a pretty good job on my photos...as long as I am outside. I am finding that I have a really hard time with photos taken inside. I am getting desperate as winter is coming! That means we stay inside!...for days!!!
So, I will send out a "small" prize to the tip that helps me the most.
Just leave your tip here on our thread! Thanks for your help! I will run this till next Friday Oct. 22
-Open every single window in the room (natural light is alwasy better)
-I take a lot of pictures (try different angles)
-If necessary I turn on all the lights in the room
-If you wish you can edit your photos
You can also use the camera flash I personally don't use it very often.

Hello Ladies
Want to thank everyone for the great gift ideas for my BSs to make. Rose won the challenge, and a little gifty will be going her way on Monday. My DH has the car today, so can't get to the PO until Monday!!
Jenn,
I have seen many people use light boxes for their cards, but I have yet to try that. Basically, their boxes are a bottom and two joining sides of a cube.
I use some environmentally friendly lights that are called sunlight. I use them overhead what I am taking a picture of. I also think that cards that are standing photograph better than ones laying down. I like to put CS behind my cards in an opposing color so that the card really pops! I will say that I usually take many pictures and do so both with and without flash - although if I have a lot of bling, I forego a flash!
I'm sure this won't help you too much, but it is what I do....lol

I would be interested in knowing more about the "Light Box" what type of light and where is it placed? I am assuming it is made with foam board?
I can use some tips .. I take all my photos at night, I use an Ott lamp with a white fold up (made to take pictures for small objects) that you get from Walmart for 5 dollars, then edit.

Is the white fold up a light box?....like what April was talking about?
Kind of like this Jenn, but the ones I was talking about were just the corner of the box, I guess you'd say... I'd use whichever light was the whitest when using something like this....
Thanks so much for picking my project ladies! I really appreciate it. Thanks for a great challenge April, really fun!
I use 12x12 white paper - 3 pieces and just make a light box. I turn on all the overhead lights in the kitchen and position an Ott light over the paper. It is hard to explain. It usually works pretty well for me. I tape 2 12x12 pieces together and put one under the project. It is probably pretty much like a light box but less complicated and expensive. It is hard getting good photos for all of us when the sun is not shining, most of the time in Ohio. I know my directions are probably as clear as mud, so if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Hi Rose can you go into more detail? I am visual...can you take a pic? Thanks

April great link! Thanks I will have to try this out!
I tape the 2 - 12x12 cardstock together and it forms a folder, then I place another 12x12 CS under it it forms a triangle. I usually put something on each side of the folder to keep it from folding in. I just crop this out with Photoshop. The top is open and I place my ott-light over it to get a good light. The folder stands up, you can use a regular folder around the outside to give it more stability. I will take a photo of it on Monday when I post again. Have a great weekend!
I made myself a small light box out of white paper and use a very old gooseneck lamp above. It gives enough light without the necessity of flash which to me, seems to wash out the colors.
Everyone has such great ideas about taking the pictures. I am not that sophisticated - point and shoot type. I will certainly try some of these out as everyone takes excellent pictures of their projects. Have a great weekend.
I could certainly use some photo help too. I prop up two pieces of white chipboard by the biggest window in my house....pray for a very sunny day....and take the photo. I use a lamp with a compact flourescent bulb too. I then edit my photos in Paint Shop Pro by adjusting the brightness/contrast, adjusting the levels, and sharpening the image before finally adding my watermark. The biggest factor in the whole process in my opinion is definitely the natural light.
Hello. I'm not going to be able to blog for a few days. The main computer at my house has a virus and the laptop I am on has a broken fan and only works for about 10 minutes.

I hate having computer issues!! Hope you can get that virus cleaned out without any damage to your computer! Good luck, Mary-Kate!
Debby,
Know that thoughts and prayers abound while on your personal journey. The joy of the Lord will prevail and your craftiness will return in due time!
Take care Debbie. Often we have to step back to go forward and it is important that you take care of yourself. Perhaps one day you may be able to rejoin our group and your desire to craft will also return.
I just wanted to check into the group one last time and thank everyone for the enormous amount of inspiration you all gave me during these past few months...I am unable to continue with the group even through the end of the year. I have looked at the calendar and with a Disney trip, helping my mom (which requires a large amount of driving 350 miles through Illinois...there really is a lot of corn grown in this state...) and just trying to reconcile the death of my father...I am finding it difficult to even craft, scrapbook or stamp. Thank you again for all the sypathy cards and support through this time and wish you all the best & success in your crafty lives...
I am going to miss you Debra. I am sending you {{hugs}}

Debbie,
All the very best to you and your family. I am sorry to hear you are leaving our group, you will be missed, but family does come first. My continued prayers and thoughts will be with you and your family during this difficult transition time and I do hope we will see you someday in the future. Even if it is just you popping back on here to say hi and let us know how you are doing, or to rejoin our group when you are back crafting. Take care of yourself.
Danielle

I feel like I've been neglectful of this thread. So, as I wait for my lunch date, I thought I'd post.
I'm inpressed at how well so many of you snap pix! I don't think MI gets enough sunlight! haha
I invited a young, newlywed lady to my house today. (She's new to the area and goes to my church.) But I'm still waiting for her. And of course, second guessing everything. haha.
Of course that means that I can't start a card since she is due here any time. I hope we are on the same page.
So, in them ean time, I'll check out the blogs. Oh wait, I think she just pulled up. Thanks for keeping me company. I can be a worry wart!!! haha.
I'll browse the blog list later. Thanks to those who so faithfully compliment my cards. I really appreciate it!
I have the tutorial posted to my blog on how to make a light box. It was really easy and the pictures are turning out great! Hope this helped some of you out....I know it sure did fix my "stuck inside for winter" problem.
Just as a quick reminder...don't forget to comment and post! I know we are starting to get busy (holy cow do I know!!!!!) but I timed myself this morning and it took me less than 5 minutes to make it to everyones blog (minus the few who have not posted in awhile). As a tip if you use this thread and go to the 1st post where all of our blogs are listed, you are able to shoot down the list really fast. I found this to be more efficient than going to everyone's blog from my blog. There is your helpful hint for Friday! LOL! Have a great weekend!
I thought it was the same Jen?? blogs..what is the difference from my blog verses the front page? I right click hit open new tap and bring every one from this group up. Just wondering

It was just a "tip" ...a suggestion! When I go from my blog, I have to use the "arrow back button" and it takes forever...I just found recently that if I go from this thread when I click on each individual blog it opens a new window and I can comment and close. Then it I go to the next blog....etc. Hope this cleared up any confusion....go to the blogs from wherever you wish!

Ohh. I do not use the back arrow.. I pull up every one and put in a new tab, when I am through commenting I close and go to the next one. I will pull up 30 blogs in seconds, then click on them one at a time, close and go to the next one. it is so much faster, the down side of coarse is when every one is playing their music.. I will have 5 versions of silent night.

I "follow" everyone's blog so when I go to my Google Reader each day it gives me a list of all unread posts. I just click on the posts directly from there which means I don't miss anyone's posts! Very easy....hope that helps!

I think I will try this....I would rather not miss anyone's posts! Thanks!
