I did the hop... and it was great fun! I didn't see a post from Carol (so will check for it later). I also noticed on Shelly's blog something about a special guest on the hop... was there someone else I was supposed to hop to?
Loved your lovely creations, my friends! Awesome job!!!
So much to say but I'm leaving in like 1o minutes ............
AWESOME job on the hop!
Our Special Guest is actually next month! I did change the first page to reflect that, or so I thought I did ......... eek! Sorry, will go back and check as we had to juggle things around to make sure we celebrated Carol's theme this month ♥
BEAUTIFUL CARDS this month, ladies, your work never ceases to amaze me! Each of you are such a gift from Him as treasured friends! Paula, we are overjoyed to have you joining us as a newbie and wow, did you ever give a post to reflect on! What a blessing you are to all of us
Ladies, I have a small prayer request - seems simple in nature compared to the major problems that we all have. My daughter's very good friend was not accepted to the military academy he has planned his whole life to attend. I know he got the news on Monday and only shared it with her. They were both tearful, upset, prayed together and trying to find the good in it but it was absolutely DEVASTATING news to him. She is humbly showing how to be a good friend in the moment of defeat, just as the Apostle Paul suffered so deeply. I know TIME is what will make it easier but right now, in this moment, he is so sad and it breaks my heart for him. I know this young man could benefit from prayer. Thanks, ladies ♥
Beautiful hop ladies! Well, I added the info from the page to my dashboard before it was edited, so I could work on my write up...which I wrote and re-wrote a few times. And a few more in my head : ) I will edit it now and take guest out!
Kelly- so sorry for your daughters friend- will keep him in prayers. She is a good friend to listen and give him a shoulder too : )
PS- Jeanette- so excited for your daughter. And, Kelly- what happened with the audition???
lovelies! I'm so far behind - driving all day from sun up to sun down, putting so miles on my Jeep! I miss my home :( But came home to some wonderful news from my dd17 .............. she's been upset for her friend that did not get into the college of his dreams. She, however, has wonderful news that I'm now able to share .......
CHRISSY IS A SEMI-FINALIST
in the vocal audition talent search!!
I cannot believe it!!! We were stunned by the magnitude of turn out and the sheer amazing talent. We are blessed they chose her to be considered among them ♥ She sang a musical theater piece and you are limited to a minute. At the one minute mark, they were just listening to her sing. When one of the markers said it's time to stop, one judge looked up with his hands in the air like "HEY!?" LOL!! Like, keep going!! It was so much fun, even the part where I was nearly hurling in the bathroom Thank you for letting me share and for thinking good thoughts for us!
I know you all don't really know me but my husband and I need prayer warriors right now! Especially me!
Paula, I just now saw this and am pausing to pray for you. My timing is off, since you asked hours ago... but God's timing is perfect. May He hear the prayers being lifted on your behalf and meet your need in this moment. Huge hugs!!
Dear Paula ~ Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers are being said for you. I'm on bended knee and know that God will prevail through this time of trial.
Paula although your request was a bit ago,...I too am offering up prayers for both of you.
Kelly....YAY CHRISSY....so happy for all of you...hope her friend is doing better...so sorry for his loss of his choice of schools...I know something good is just around the corner for him...
Everyone did a beautiful job on the hop....I was so inspired by all of you.
Have an amazing rest of the weekend.....

Hello all! After getting bad news last week, I have had a few bright spots in the last 24 hours. It looks like God may be opening some new doors and closing another. Validation and answer to prayer is always a good thing. Thank you all for your prayers and please continue a little while longer.
Paula, I'm glad to hear that God is sharing with you His plans for you and your family. Iv'e found the hardest part is always the waiting. All in His time, not ours, yet we in this secular world sometimes have a hard time with that notion. Continued prayers indeed!
I'm sorry I haven't been so active. As most of you know, I'm mom to 4 wearing many hats and having to go back and forth all day long, every day and it's utterly taxing (no pun intended!) We also have a few things going on that are heavy on my heart - thankfully not health related as I'm sure that would just send me over the edge. But lots to think over, ponder, consider ......... pray over. I am heeding my own advice indeed!
Dropping in to say hello- we had almost 70 degrees here on Sunday, and on Monday we had 2" snow. Mother Nature is playing fun games with us in the Midwest! She needs to knock it off me thinks!
What is everyone doing for Easter?
Prayers and Hugs to all who need them. I would like to add my parents in to the list- life is getting harder for them lately- my Mom has torn her rotator cuff, and she has a bad neck, so is having alot of pain (she rarely complains either). Please keep her in prayers!
