Hello Ladies! I hope you have a great weekend going on!
Pansy - WOW!!! I love the birth announcement! It is so cute! (I made the birth announcements for our 3 kiddos - way back before people did that - so I'm very partial to handmade birth announcements. Funny thing is, I did it because I thought it would be fun BUT ALSO to save $$$ - and now, years later, just think of ALL THE $$$ I spend on cardmaking. LOL!)
Oh Kel... your owl cards are just WAY TOO CUTE! My DD loves owls so I always admire owl cards and try to CASE a few for her. ;)
About the supplies list in my blog posts - no, it isn't a drop in. I create it each time. Truthfully, I guess I never thought about trying to find a way where I could drop the list into the blog. I rarely cut/paste anything to my blog because for some reason it changes the format of my entire layout - putting spaces where I don't want spaces, scrunching some things up. And I can never seem to get it straightened out again for that post.
April............ hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I wonder if I have one of those circle cutters? My MIL did Creative Memories and my FIL gave me her "stuff" when her memory prevented her from using them anymore. I have used some of the items, but some have just collected dust. EEK! I don't think there is a circle cutter. But......... there are these three (I think it's three) bright-colored little gizzmo's that are used for cutting something. Might need to check and see what I have. LOL!
Zella, oh my! You are sure busy when you can't sleep! Gorgeous cards! (Like you, if I make multiples of the same card, I only count it once.)
Karla, I'm so glad you're here. It's not about keeping up. It's about friendship - and using what we have. Hugs!!!
Zella, hope you are able to get some sleep but you do use your creative time wisely. I like the way you count, then I wouldn't be feeling behind.

I also made two cards for my A Muse blog - and didn't buy anything new to do so... but I'm not counting them for my 100 Cards in 100 Days, since they are shown on a different blog. But I thought you might enjoy seeing them, too. ;)
Jeanette, if you have the 3 bright things...those are the cutting blades...now you need to find the mat (about 12 x 14 ) and the templates(heavy plastic with grooves in them) and you are ready to go. I love my CM cutting system sets....have them all....
Thanks for the comment on the birth announcement.....I made all 4 of our kids too but they were mimeographed and folded sheets of paper--though the designs were handdrawn...I like these much better. I made elaborate construction scene ones for the DGS who is now 7......and now a baseball one.....Phone call last night says it might only be a few days. so I am excited.
I am loving that gray thinking of you card.....how classic,,,how lovely. I like the birthday one also....the brightness of the DSP and the lucious looking chocolate frosting on the cake.......wait,,,I haven't had breakfast yet....now I want cake..... and the little baker......oh that brings memories of teaching children and grandchild to make cookies.... You have been a busy card maker.....Enjoy your day.

Pansy, I think I remember seeing plastic template things. I may need instructions when I get all the things out and try to figure out how to use them. ;)
Thank you for your sweet comments on my cards!
I think your birth announcements ALL sound marvelous! For the ones I made for our kiddos I designed, drew and HAND CUT the pieces - using colored copy paper. They were pretty primitive, compared to cards today. But they are fond memories. Our OB/GYN even put the ones I sent him in my medical file. ;)
Morning! Yep, still having the blizzard. it's official - there's a lot of snow out there LOL
Pansy: that Baseball Bat card is WONDERFUL!! You are a creative genius!
Jeanette: I see no reason to not count those 2 cards toward this challenge. You used materials that you already had on hand!
Zella: I'm counting each card, since the challenge didn't specify that they be different cards, just 100 cards. KWIM? I have struggled with insomnia most of my life. I sure hope that you can get some sleep!
jeanette - i keep meaning to ask but kept forgetting. is that a plugin you use to list the supplies for each card you make on your blog? i've been looking for something like that (my blog is wordpress) but i never know what to search in order to find it.
Thanks for asking this Kelly. I've been meaning to ask also.
Jeanette: I know what you mean about cutting & pasting into blog posts. The same problems happen to me  It's such a pain. Too bad there isn't some way to include the basic list as a sort of template, then you could just fill in the info each time.
Thank you everyone for the kind birthday wishes! It was a nice day, despite the blizzard! A great day to stay indoors and indulge myself in playing with my toys.
Hmmm, I did a lot of playing but only have 2 cards that are about 80% finished to show for all of my time. I'll get back to them soon and hopefully have some pictures to share. It's pretty cloudy and snowy so not so great lighting today.

There MAY be a way to do that. I'm just so inept at computers/technology.
Darlene, I could count those two cards, but then the people who just go to my Cre8tive Play blog would get confused by the two missing "numbers" so I decided not to count those two toward my 100 in 100 challenge cards. ;)

Oh, I see what you mean. You are so conscientious, always thinking of others!
thanks Darlene but I can't take full credit...my kids found a scrapbook page or something that they sorta liked,,,,,I tweaked it by creating the Rookie Report tag and made it into an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" flat card.....I am pleased with the way it balanced out ....have all the pieces cut,,,now to do the sponging and assembling.

J, Those are the little gizmos I use..... You should have a set of three circles and then there is another set too...can't remember their name....lol
My 48th card is on my blog today. It's the card I made for the Unidentifed Image swap - so the images were gifted to me. I didn't purchase anything for it, so it counts. ;)
The fourth picture is actually the first of the 6 of these cards that I made. I did it horizontally before I realized the other stamped images didn't fit in my Nestability that way and I had to make the other 5 cards vertical instead.
Every card that gets posted is so pretty....April, I love the one with the hanging hearts - great color with the red/black combo....Jeanette that dog is so stinkin' cute!
I haven't made any more cards this weekend other than what I did Friday night. The creepy crud grabbed hold and didn't let go so I've been pretty much just vegging Saturday and today. I stayed home from church today but did watch online...am listening now actually. And I just have to tell you - God can touch you right in your living room! During the prayer time I was praying with them and praying for God to take the pressure away from my head and clear this cold up....within minutes it the pressure was gone! Now it wasn't any drugs because it was time for me to take another Musinex and I haven't taken it yet. So it was a 100% God thing!
ok gurls...time to play catch up...lol
My eyes were 'soaked' with so many paper beautiessss.....Love love lovee all the great inspirations I get here....*J* U are a dynamo card maker...holeee cannoliiiii gurl!!
..and each of them is completely finished inside out...U take the cake for sure!
Circle cutter?...Can you not use a simple circle die w/ cuttle bug or Big Shot? (not sure which one U have...)
Pansy I loveeee your soft coloring ways....and the pastels....but woww on the baby announcement!! Looks like someone is very fond of baseball....adorably cute!
April...your lates heart string card has fast became my favorite...wowww....it is truly awesome and definelty great for the soon to be holiday approaching...
