Blue Jay update,,,,,the two of them ate all the peanuts today and they are roosting in the cedar tree right outside our office. the tree is technically the neighbors but it hangs over our fence too.

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
You are all inspiring me...But I think I'll have to unofficially play along. I know that I can not make a card/day. I tend to make most of my cards on the weekends. But I really like the idea of using up my treasure chest. In fact, I have already made a promise to that affect. And a promise to send more cards out to family and friends.
Darlene, I think the idea is 100 Cards in 100 Days - I don't see anything in the title of this thread that says it has to be a card a day. Some days it just isn't possible to make a card. If I'm wrong, I'll probably have to kick myself out of the group... because speaking engagements and/or travels will happen in these first 100 days of 2013, and I won't be able to create on those days. But I can do 2 or more cards on some days to make up for it.

Yep, yep, yep! In fact, projects are included too, not just cards, and depending on how big your project is, you might even count it as 3 or 4 towards your total. It's up to you whether or not you want to count duplicates separately. Personally I want something different (like different papers or embellishments) on it to count it individually, even though I use the same design/layout. You can look in my gallery for examples of that. Or use keyword 100in100. ;) Last round, I was 2 weeks late in finishing my 100, but no one beat me up! LOL The main goal is to create with your stash without buying more (exception--adhesive!) Please join us, Darlene! It'll be more fun when you're part of this group and sharing and being encouraged to keep going!

DS#2 has his winter project (paper bag buddy) due tomorrow... they go back to school tomorrow, yikes! after i finish his puppet i'll be working on card #2.
ok my fellow bloggers.....I'm having a huge brain misfire . Now just a day or so ago I linked a photo back to a blog where the challenge was.... but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it today! It's in a post. So please - take pity on this newbie blogger and tell me how to do it.

And I agree with what you told Darlene - I don't think you have to make 1 card a day - sometimes, you just can't get the cards made each day!! Right now, I have too many things planned to do. a card a day...

Was bit worried about this one as I stayed home MOnday all day due to the snow and Tuesday was the holiday and so today, like it or not,,,I had to go to Sam's, Walmart and Dillions to buy food and some other stuff.......so didn't get to my craft room until almost 5.
And to further agree....you don't have to make a card every day...some days you may be able to create 2-3 or more.....just try for 100 cards within the 100 days....and I didn't know about the projects......that could be fun to do also..I have a bunch that need to be worked on.
Maybe I could count my stampin journal I made....nope,,,had it finished before the first.....but I could make more....

Only day 2 and no sympathy stash and needed two of them. Made up two pretty quick when looking through my stash of scrap card stock. I hate making sympathy cards.
You ladies are providing lots of inspiration already, hopefully will have time to play with some sketches soon.

i agree as well! this is just motivation to get crafty, and the rules can be whatever you want them to be. i'm going strictly cards this round, and i definitely can't abide by the card-a-day rule either. we will be off to disney for a week and i have absolutely no intention of making cards on our trip!! hoping to get ahead and do it before we leave but we'll see!!!

I tried to post some birthday cards that I made last night but my computer wouldn't upload the pictures to my blog. It's been doing that the past couple of weeks. Ugh. When I go back and try later it works. Very strange. I gave up & made dinner then didn't get back to it. I'll try again in a few hours.
April, tried to leave you some love but I don't think my post went through. Then, poof! It was gone. Will try again later. I think my iPad is telling me to go back to sleep!

OH!!!! So when I demo how to make mini albums for card club next week and have to make samples I could count those?

My card was finally posted to my blog, computer and blogger finally cooperated. Made 6 of these for the Birthday Committee here for the RAK group.
I'm so bad, if I make 2 of the same, I still count both. Of course, I'm shameless. I'm tempted to count my blog post about DH's scarf that will be finished tonight. It's still crafting and a blog post. I told you, I'm shameless!
The FUN part of this challenge is that everyone can make the requirements they want. If it's 100 different cards, if it's just 100 cards, if it's 100 "items" ... whatever. The best part is the Inspiration to just keep using the stamps and papers and enjoying the hobby Love It

Is anyone besides me having problems with blogger? I can't get it to let me browse and upload photos to my blog. UGH!!! I tried last night and again this morning! I'm sor frustrated............ and stressed, too, since I will have DT things that need to be posted very soon. EEK!!!
