The heat has finally hit Ontario and in honor of summer finally arriving we are going to pull out our heat guns and find ways to use them. I seem to go in phases when I use my heat gun on almost every project and then take a break and hardly use it at all. Let's see what you all can do with yours.
I did want to let you know that things have been terribly crazy around here. The kids have been extremely busy with end of the year projects and DH is home renovating for a few weeks so I hardly even looked at any of the projects from last week's challenge. Sorry, I'll try and do better this week!
Please remember to put WT64 in your keywords section and post a link back here so we can all see it. If you need help or have any questions, feel free to pm me. Please no Sunday uploads. Feel free to make as many cards or projects as you wish for as long as you wish and combine other challenges as well.
Here is my card for this challenge...DH is painting the house and I haven't been stamping because I feel bad sitting there while he is working so hard...house looks great though!
Ooooo....I've been wanting to try the technique with heated Pearl Ex. Perfect opportunity. I just have to pick up white glue at the grocery store this morning! Thanks for the great challenge Julia.

Got one done really quick just to feel like I can say I made a card today!;) I have to get busy I want to make another for this challenge and I still have to make a card for yesterday's challenge and cruise through the gallery! Hello
This is perfect timing, I have a customer who let me borrow a retired stamp set and an embossing powder called enamelware blue and it is awesome. Just wish I had more images to use it on!!
Oh the ideas....will have to do more later. I have shrink plastic feeling lonely these days...
I don't know if I'll be able to play today, sure hope so! Here's a card I did a few months back where I used my heat gun to emboss the limes with clear embossing powder over craft ink. I embossed about three times to get a really thick texture, but unfortunately, it doesn't show up on the scan.
Don't have anything but embossing powders yet. I have a feeling that today's challenge is going to have me adding lots of fun things.. besides stamps.. to my ever growing wish list. Have a dentist appointment in a couple of hours. Gonna try and do something before that.
Yuck, couldn't stand it after looking at it for a while. The gold I tried around the edges began looking like mold, so I redid the card. I like this one much better.
Okay here's mine. Had a heck of a time trying to take a picture of the cracked glass without so much glare that you could actually see the image. Oh well....
Well, this challenge turned out to be, for me, a bit more complex than I am sure you intended. I decided to finally give Joseph's Coat Technique a try. The first one was a bust and ended in the trash but the 2nd one was passable enough to post. I didn't have a multi-colored ink pad so DD told me about using Reinkers and BabyWipes.
Dawn and I decided it's a good thing we have cordless phones and don't have to pay long distance fees since we spent our stamping time this morning talking to each other and being frustrated together. Isn't having a daughter a wonderful thing?
