hi all , i want to tell everybody here that i not want to upset anybody with my naughty fairy stamps ,i designs them becouse i think they where funny , but some people on this forum donnot like them.
ok that is posible not everybody have the same humor and taste .
i see it as art not as naked people , a fairy is fantasy figure not real people.

I think that your stamped art is beautiful. I love what you have in your gallery. Very creative and very artistic cards. Although the fairy stamps are definitely not my style of stamps (and they wouldn't be even if they were not nude, I just don't prefer that style)- they are not the first stamps I have seen that contain nudity. In fact, if you look in one of the issues of Take Ten there are samples created with stamps that have nude women in them.
I hope you keep up the designing and the sharing! If others do not like your designs it is not for you to worry about. They can simply move on to the next card in the gallery...
Please don't worry about it...your fairies are art and there is nothing pornographic about them. I had not seen them before you made this post, so I went to look at your gallery. You do lovely work...please don't let the opinions of a few people upset you.
Oh good grief !!! With all the things in this world to be concerned about, nude fairies just don't seem to rank in the upper 10.
I love your cards and think the backgrounds are beautiful. If some are offended, don't look!!

I just looked at your gallery and your artwork is beautiful. It is unfortunate when people try to turn something natural such as nudity into something dirty. Don't worry about the meanies
My parents have lived in Italy and the UK and if people have a problem with this little bit of nudity, don't travel overseas, there are fully nude women on billboards and it is not seen as wrong or shameful, I mean everyone has the same parts, right?
Wow! You are very talented. I do like the faries but naked ones aren't my style but you have used them very tastefully so I am not offened by them.
I do agree if you don't like them don't look at them.
You have a lot of nice artwork I am very impressed.

Don't limit yourself by only posting pics of what you think everyone will approve! This site has moderators and if they approve your photos, then they are allowed. Those who do not wish to see them would do well not to click on the thumbnails just to complain. ;)
Posting nasty comments to cards is out of line. Don't let the naughty posters offend you. If they have an issue with what content is allowed, they should contact the moderators.
I think they are beautiful. You are very talented. I looked at your other stamps. I LOVE the Indian one.

I wouldn't worry about it. art is art. I like them sometimes the rest of the world is more progressive then the united states.
I agree with everyone else. I think your work is beautiful and not in the least pornographic. God knows I love this country, but we are definitely too puritanistic when it comes to the human body. We are so far ahead of the rest of the world in many things, but not something as simple as nudity.
I think part of the reason your cards were criticized is due to cultural differences and social mores. In Europe there are clothing optional beaches and such...people feel more comfortable in their own skin so to speak. They are not viewed as voyeurs or perverts. Nudity is more natural and accepted. They tend to be freer and not freaked out by the human body. In the US....there isn't that same level of comfort...yes there are nude beaches here and nude tour groups, etc....but people aren't as accepting. Your cards were lovely and the images fine...my suggestion for those that find the images/nudity offensive...should just click the "back" button on their browser. If we restrict everything that could possibly offend someone, there probably would not be much in the gallery. ;)

I have to say that as I worked my way through the gallery your images certainly caught my eye! But it never occurred to me that it was anything other than art. Whatever the subject matter you are obviously a talented artist.

Since I've been having trouble posting in the gallery lately, I'll just make some comments here. I think your work is beautiful. While it may not be in some people's tastes, I think it was rude to post the comments they did. I simply see your work as art, not like it's porn or anything like that!

I doubt that they would have been approved if they were considered to be pornograhic. Your art work is wonderful & please don't take all of the comments to heart. I find it odd that people would so hastily post negativity when other wonderful cards go without any posts.

Those cards are some of the best I have seen and are Art. I love the nude Fairies I need some of those!
I wouldn't even bother with the negative post, they were from posters that didn't have many post and didn't have galleries, so whatever. And shame on them for even posting negative comments to that sort, it is one thing to post a suggestion, but to just out right ge nagative, is uncalled for. I have seen some ugly cards or not very creative and I don't post that it is an ugly card, cause everyone has different taste.
Please keep posting, those cards are going into my favorites!

Please do not apologize for other people's rudeness. If someone doesn't like something then they should not comment on it. If it is not your taste skip over it, let others see the beauty in it. If I saw someone's card and did not like it, I certainly would not comment that I thought it was ugly and should not be allowed on SCS. We are here to encourage each other, that is what this world needs more of. Keep those fairies coming!!

Brigitta, your work is beautiful, just beautiful! Please don't let a few negative comments prevent you from posting your creations! If there are some that don't care for "tasteful nudes," it's their right to move on to the next card without comment.
art is beautiful - I just took a quick peek and will visit more later while I'm at work (when I do most of my gallery surfing).... but they are fun and beautiful - I'll bet your own design is fun to work with. It reminded me of the All About U set when it came out - I really really really really wanted to make a F*** U card but didn't cuz while I think it's funny - I know a lot of other people wouldn't but now... heck I should have just made my card!!!!!

There is...down in the lower right hand corner of the box you post in in the gallery....;) Use it!
I hope I am not considered one of the "negative" posts to the fairy cards. I was joking around after I read the negative comments. I only added the "subliminal" part to make light of the sutuation. Everyone has their own likes and dilikes. I especially like the one post here about 'where are the boy fairies'! LOL!!
I think your atc cards are very nice. I know dh would like em! hehehe! Those who posted the negative comments probably want the statue of David clothed or taken off display. So bring on the boy fairies!!!!;)

I noticed this too, and thought it very significant. Someone stirring the pot, perchance? Don't they think we can stir things up adequately for ourselves? :rolleyes:
I agree - the moderators approved the uploads, the gallery isn't the place for negative comments, and ... it's only nudity.
I think it's great that you have the talent to design your own stamps and the passion to make cards with them.
