Default Looking for certain type of paper.

I would like to recreate this card......

She used a stamp to get the background of her card. But I was wondering if I would be able to get a paper that is "vintage" looking with a script background. I've been looking online but can't really find what I'm looking for. I'd like it to be a light vanilly type color because I will be stamping on top of it so I don't want it to be too dark. I know Stampin Up had a French Script background stamp and that's basically the look I'm going for but in paper/cardstock form, not a stamp.

Any suggestions?

I found this by searching script designer paper.

I have seen 12x12 sheets like you describe in craft stores but can't remember where!

I just noticed that's a digital download. But I'm sure if you type in vintage script designer paper it would give you some leads.

I found this lovely paper at Michaels. You can put in your zip code and see if they have it at a Michaels near you.

thanks. I was at Michaels today and they didn't have anything that I was looking for. So I settled on getting 2 pieces of a tan paper with very light background designs on it. Might have to do until I can find some that I really like.

I don’t know how much “work” you want to put in to getting your background paper just right. But if you have the supplies, you could purchase some script background paper that is “too white” but then warm it up with some distress ink in Antique Linen for example. Or if you find one where you think the script is too prominent for your purpose, you could lightly sand it, or put a thin coat of distress stain in Picket Fence to soften and blur the writing so it fades into the background more.
Lastly, search for Free Printable antique script paper. A few years ago I found some antique looking sheet music to print out for Christmas cards.
