Q: "What is metallic pencil resist?"
A: This technique is basically like crayon resist, but instead of crayons, use Stampin' Up!®'s metallic pencils. Stamp an image on glossy white cardstock and let dry. Color in with metallic pencils. Brayer over the entire piece of cardstock with a dark colored dye ink. Now, carefully rub a tissue over the colored images to remove the dye ink where you used the pencils. I say carefully, because if you rub over the images too hard, the color of the metallic pencils will come off, leaving you with the white of the cardstock shining through.

Susan Alvey has a tip for Mini Coaster Books:
"I just thought I'd share that before I put the inside covers on, I also fasten the accordion piece in so that the edges of it are secured with the cover also. It's less likely to come un-glued while being passed around.
