Default writing around a square

Does anyone know how to make your text go around a square? I have done it using word art in a circle shape, but can't figure out how to apply this to a square because there's no square shape shown in Word Art. Help, please! I've tried everything I can think of!

What about creating individual text boxes, one for each side of the square? Would that work for your applicatin? I'm not sure if this can be done in the word-art application, but it can be done in word. Just insert your photo, image or shape and create your test boxes.

Thanks, Lynn. It's certainly worth a try. This has been driving me crazy for a week!

I saved this a while back I have no idea who posted it, and I haven't even tried it but maybe this would help. Sorry I can't give credit where credit is due.
To Print in a Shape…circle, spiral, etc:

• Open MS Word
• Select insert
• Then picture
• Then Word Art
• Type sentiment in font and colors desired
• From Word art toolbar select “shape” option
• Click on circle (or desired shape)
• Stretch and size as desired!
• Format under Word Art toolbar “Format word Art” to add SU! Colors and equalize size (if desired)

you'll have to clk and drag the shape into a circle and if you go under the format tab you can equalize the height and width to be a perfect circle. Keep trying..it's too cute!

here is another one that may help.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is what i do

Open a blank document. Click on 'Insert" at the top. then when the drop down menu appears, choose "Picture" and then 'WordArt". Type what you want. Up above the window, I have three drop down windows. The first one says "Plain Text". If you click on that one, you’ll get a bunch of shapes to choose from. I chose the donut looking one and printed my type in a perfect circle.

Hope u can understamd it
Jen
