This is a card for my DH who is always complaining that I make cards for challenges, but not for him. (It will be our little secret that it's for 2 challenges as well)
I learned that I really need to invest in some nestabilities or other means to cut ovals - these were done using circle templates (cut half then moved the template down and cut the other half).
The moon was popped up, then the owl was popped up on the moon. I hand wrote the sentiment so I could get it to fit.
Owl was colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. The scalloped oval was cut by hand with dec. scissors then the edges were colored with ChartPak markers. Black edges and dots were with a Sharpie.
Awesome shape on this card - very eye catching... Go the the Nesties...you'll love them and they are suppose to be coming out with card sized templates!!!

I love it!!. I feel your pain about the cutting systems. Not one system works or all things. The nesties are great though. Great job on this sketch too.

Oh wow, is this ever creative and oh so wonderful. So, now Dh has something to put in his office and with pleasant thoughts that his DW created this unique and incredible card just for him. Way to go on this one, Jami!
