Today's card is going to my mailperson. She is the one that got me into stamping. Her Christmas present every year is a gift card to SU and rosettes. Need to make the rosettes yet. It's late this year, but she understood. This will fit into two challenges...Sabrina's yesterday. That challenge really had me thinking about all the inspiration we share with each other. Something old....paint brush, die, person making the card, stamp. New..the digi. Borrowed....every card I make has borrowed inspiration from numerous stampers. The person who first inspired me with coloring and shading would be Karen Barber. She made those markers do magic. Blue....the vases. Wendy asked us to use a die. Using an old border die framed the image. Recently saw a post on how to glue the intricate dies using a sponge. Take foil and squeeze out the glue...using the sponge(which has been cut into a small piece) dip into glue and dab on the die. It really works well. You can reuse the sponge by storing it in an airtight container. TFL

Where to begin? This card is gorgeous on so many levels! First the lovely flowers, the overall CAS look, the white on white die cut border and finally the lovely sentiment! Faved!
