This is my card for CC580. Vicki is our hostess and she chose island indigo, daffodil delight and garden green for her color trio. Dessert is to use leaves. Couldn't get that to work on my teapot card.
My card started with a technique this week. I have been wanting to try the pleated skirt fold and there is a great tutorial here on Splitcoaststampers.
For my fold I used island indigo dsp from the Stampin'-Up "gingham garden collection. The teapot is cut with more Stampin'-Up dsp. This one is from the greenhouse gala collection. The teapot lid and scallop decoration are cut in garden green.
Completed my card with my sentiment from a set by ODBD, added some hearts and my bow.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Check out the other DT samples for more inspiration.

I've only used this technique one time, but I just Loved how my card turned out (and need to use it more often). Super cute in the gingham, which adds to the country look of your card! Pretty teapot and whimsical hearts~

Your round tablecloth is so perfect for this sweet, sweet mother's day card, mary. I hope it's for your own mom. I can only imagine how a mom would go crazy over what her daughter created especially for her. Charming and colorful card.
