Can't believe yet another week has passed. Glad I had some time this afternoon to join in today's Free 4 All challenge.
For the F4A challenge, we were asked to make a masculine valentine. What spoke to my heart today was making a valentine for my dad. No, my dad is no longer with me, but he's been on my heart lately, so I decided to make him a card to be tucked into the weathered pages of our family bible. I lost my dad when I was young, so using a childlike image seemed fitting. Whenever I'm able to visit his grave site in NY, I still see him as being young and vibrant and myself being a young girl.
TFL. Have a great weekend everyone.

I am sp sprry you had lost your dad so young. Must have been very hard. What a sweet and precious idea to make him this card for him. He sees it and knows the love you still share with him. Cute little girl with big amounts of love....TFS..:0)

This tender tribute stands out so sweetly and boldly on the solid black background, Anne. What precious memories are brought up with these images. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us; sorry he was not with you in person for as long as you would have liked. One cannot look at these two images together, read your story, and not have their heartstrings tugged upon. He would have been a proud papa to see his sweetheart grown into such a fine lady.
