A lovely simple sketch from Janette which lets the image panel take center stage....if one chooses. I do.
Having fun with my Bisters and masking fluid this time. At this point, I never know exactly what I'm going to get with this new medium, but go with it. I added the lighthouse, but coated it with black EP since I wanted a night scene. The light beams were created with a mask and white pad ink/sponge.

Your masking showing the lighthouse searchlights is AMAZING!! And the white foam of the waves evokes a stormy night. I really love this...wonderfully artistic. A fav for sure ;)

This is just extraordinary! I have to google "Bisters" ~ I have seen you mention them a couple of times now. You sure created an outstanding seascape with them and your masking fluid. Your talent is awesome!

With my enduring love of lighthouses, this card really took my breath away! Absolutely AMAZING use of your bisters !! You have created such a realistic stormy scene here - the fury and the power of the sea in a beautifully crafted card - what an eye you have for all the details - Love the lighthouse beam !

Good thing the lighthouse is working properly because sailors could be in for trouble! Those waves don't look too calming, but instead quite treacherous! Beautifully created, Sallie....your painting gives a real sense of what can happen out on the open seas~

I just received my bisters today! I love what you've created with them. Honestly, I can't wait to find time to play with them. Your card is gorgeous and that bg is superlative.
