Well, it's still Friday where I am so one could say I'm actually 'on time' with this week's Queen for the Day card. Carol's gallery is full of fantastic creations. Hope she's soon feeling up to sharing more of her work! I chose Carol's Soft Sky Birthday Wishes as my inspiration. I debated whether or not to use exactly the same embossing folders but opted to join the three vertical panels into one so I could test out a new Sizzix folder I just got this week.
Other challenges I've met with this card:
StampinB # 56 - Make a Mother's Day card
ssnotime137 - Make a 3-D flower on your card
F4A10 (SCS) - Celebrate May Day - show your florals
Stamped the flower on dp with Versamark, embossed with white, cut out and curled the petals. Thanks to whiterockmama (aka Ritzi) for the pearls.
Moving this to the Dry Embossing Technique section in an attempt to see if the "Dreaded Red X" will disappear.... It's the only technique gallery/section that remotely fits!
Punchkateer tally: Used 3 different punches - 2 leaf punches on the front/one daisy border punch on the inside (top and bottom edges galz) (Total # punches - 12) RYPH!

Oh Heather, I hope you've already mailed this! You know the postal service between here and there takes weeks! Whenever it arrives,I'll love it! How beautiful in that folder. Elegant simplistic sophistication right here, girl. Most stampers know you for your 'nasty' cards (ie, digging holes), but underneath that cantankerous exterior, there's such a lovely lady! Amazing card. Hope it's for your mom!

I feel a very strong case of a 'case' coming on.....This is simply gorgeous! So very very pretty. It jumped off the page as soon as your gallery opened. Wow, love it! TFS. : )
