Well, it's still Friday where I am so one could say I'm actually 'on time' with this week's Queen for the Day card. Carol's gallery is full of fantastic creations. Hope she's soon feeling up to sharing more of her work! I chose Carol's Soft Sky Birthday Wishes as my inspiration. I debated whether or not to use exactly the same embossing folders but opted to join the three vertical panels into one so I could test out a new Sizzix folder I just got this week.
Other challenges I've met with this card:
StampinB # 56 - Make a Mother's Day card
ssnotime137 - Make a 3-D flower on your card
F4A10 (SCS) - Celebrate May Day - show your florals
Stamped the flower on dp with Versamark, embossed with white, cut out and curled the petals. Thanks to whiterockmama (aka Ritzi) for the pearls.
Moving this to the Dry Embossing Technique section in an attempt to see if the "Dreaded Red X" will disappear.... It's the only technique gallery/section that remotely fits!
Punchkateer tally: Used 3 different punches - 2 leaf punches on the front/one daisy border punch on the inside (top and bottom edges galz) (Total # punches - 12) RYPH!

So pretty! I'm glad I clicked on the X anyway, on the chance that I might get to see it. The pearls really do add a touch of class to a very pretty card. Like the layers of leaves under the flower.

Oh My Gosh, I love your CASE of my original card! You completely went in your own direction to create this and it turned out beautifully! I LOVE the Verve flower and I need to pull that set out and get creating! I love the embossed b/g panel and how you added all those pearl accents to the flowers and sentiment panel! This is a stunning Mother's day card, and sure to please any Mom on your list! Thanks for joining in the celebration of QFTD07 with me

OMG, Da Dizzy, this is one very, very, very FINE Mother's Day card. I'm in LOVE with this one. I can't believe we chose the same card to case. I LOVE the ef you chose for this card and your flower/leaf treatment is GORGEOUS!! And, of course, the pearls just top it off in my humble pearl-o-holic opinion!! I'm so glad to see you keyworded StampinB on your card to honor Benzi. I finished my MD card, but I still have to do one more for Benzi and the StampinB challenge!! Wish I could case this one, but since I already did my case, I better move on. You did a terrific job and look at that punch count!!! You'll be all trimmed up for spring and summer if it ever gets warmer there!! TFS Diz!!!

Izzy, this is really special. Love your flower treatment and that gorgeous embossing. You should get a lot of extra points for all those beautiful little pearls!
