This is for Angie's fun CAS tree challenge and inspired by Joan's great TLC scraps challenge...I still had my scraps box on the desk!!
I cut these strips from two different "leftover" mixed media backgrounds. To bring some unity, I inked all the edges with walnut stain distress ink.
I adhered the strips, then added the tree and sentiment. The tree is not completely stuck down, I left the top brances unglued (is that a word). This was not only fun, but super quick to make.

So beautiful and creative Susie. Great way to use bg or DSP scraps. Love the way you pulled your scraps together with your sponging of the edges and die cut tree. TFS my friend.
