This is for Angie's fun CAS tree challenge and inspired by Joan's great TLC scraps challenge...I still had my scraps box on the desk!!
I cut these strips from two different "leftover" mixed media backgrounds. To bring some unity, I inked all the edges with walnut stain distress ink.
I adhered the strips, then added the tree and sentiment. The tree is not completely stuck down, I left the top brances unglued (is that a word). This was not only fun, but super quick to make.

Oh, Susie, what a beautiful card! And it's from scraps! Absolutely have to LOVE that part! And I love the tree that is unglued! I believe it's a word, and I actually feel like I'm unglued myself! Hehe! Hugs, sis!
