Encouragement card for a sweet gal in Texas. The TSC challenge this week is to use something from a store bought card to embellish our hand made cards. I used the photo of a chapel from a Christmas card I rec'd this year, sponged the edges and popped it up on foam tape.
This is also a card to honor Pamzi (Pam124), also known as "Faith" to me, as she bears a striking resemblance to Faith Hill, really, she does.... Congrats to this Queen of the Day! I was so tickled to see your name, and chose Time For Tea to celebrate your day! (I am certain you served Fruitcake with this tea, yes Faith?)
I love the new images from Our Daily Bread Designs, and have stamped my main image on canvas (Canvas Corp, available at HL) using Choc Chip ink. The swirls in the bg are from Impress, and are stamped in Close to Cocoa. I stitched the edges to replicate Pam's paper piercing, and added lace to the edges as well.
Pamzi, Cowgirl- enjoy your week! Yee-haw!!!! (and hugs....)
Thanks for looking!

Granny Buckles, is that you from out yonder? Well, if this isn't the most AMAZING card evah! You would go and show me up wouldn't you? And, to reveal my secret identity that you vowed to never disclose. I will have to make up a new user name to once again disguise who I am and a new blog called Faithz Zecretz rather than Fruitcakez Zecretz. Darn, I just messed it up again. When you're Faith Hill and Da Queen, you just get so darn full of yourself. Ooooh, back to your card as it's not all about me, right.
Pat, this is so incredible where does one start. You always have the finest mixture of elements and textures to your cards. Your recycled image is amazing and look at that canvas b/g. Okay, I had to mention about the stitching since I see Benzi had to make a smart remark about that. I'm still waitin' on that sewing machine she promised me. LOL!! I am so honored that you would make a card so beautiful in my honor and that it will be used for such a comforting purpose. It's a win/win in my book. Did you stick a paper cowboy inside the card for her? Did me wonders!! I could go on, but I have to tend to all my other Queenly duties. Yes, since I've been in power, Britain has gone from tea and crumpets to tea and fruitcakes. I'm really upping the sophistication at Buckingham Palace. I do believe I'll have fruitcake served at the royal wedding reception! Oh, it's good to be QUEEN!
