Encouragement card for a sweet gal in Texas. The TSC challenge this week is to use something from a store bought card to embellish our hand made cards. I used the photo of a chapel from a Christmas card I rec'd this year, sponged the edges and popped it up on foam tape.
This is also a card to honor Pamzi (Pam124), also known as "Faith" to me, as she bears a striking resemblance to Faith Hill, really, she does.... Congrats to this Queen of the Day! I was so tickled to see your name, and chose Time For Tea to celebrate your day! (I am certain you served Fruitcake with this tea, yes Faith?)
I love the new images from Our Daily Bread Designs, and have stamped my main image on canvas (Canvas Corp, available at HL) using Choc Chip ink. The swirls in the bg are from Impress, and are stamped in Close to Cocoa. I stitched the edges to replicate Pam's paper piercing, and added lace to the edges as well.
Pamzi, Cowgirl- enjoy your week! Yee-haw!!!! (and hugs....)
Thanks for looking!

Pat, it never ceases to amaze me how you use your BG papers to make such a gorgeous setting for your main image! You put as much work into the background as some of us put into our entire card! This image reflects the peace I know you are sending to that gal in Texas who will undoubtedly take great comfort from your card's message - there is always so much more than what meets the eye in your cards! lymi

Cross stitching was an old hobby of mine, before I discovered stamping! This looks like cross stitched canvas! So much LOVE going on and in this one card!

This is a great card to honor Pamzi - I can see why you call her Faith (not quite sure about the Faith Hill resemblance - they both have beautiful eyes and great smiles and are funny, funny, funny - ok I will buy that resemblance comment ) - she shoulders so much (much more than I could shoulder) but still reflects our Lord with her sweet and humorous comments and messages - not to mention her wonderful card creations. There have been many day that I was dragging and she perked me right up with some crazy comment or a shoulder to lean on (actually, she resembles you now that I think about it). LYMI to the both of ya!
