I've been noticing all the fun at MotherMark's Tea Party and didn't want to miss out so I'm joining in today. Today's full story: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Abner, the abdominable snowman wasn't very happy when Shaun White showed up to secretly train for the Olympics on his territory. Shaun wanted to make him happy by giving him snowboarding lessons but Abner said no. No, to anything revolving around white because that is all that is in his life...white snow, white everything, everywhere.
The Tea Party group decided to try to help Shaun bring a splash of color into Abner's life so he would be happy and let Shaun go on with his training.
I thought we could carry this little bird, flower, and a pod full of millions of flower seeds. The bird can scatter the seeds around and in a few days there will be a meadow of red flowers for Abner. He will be smiling from ear to ear and Shaun can go ahead with his training and everyone will be happy.
The little bird is a bit afraid of Abner and is giving him a friendly hi but hoping he doesn't step on him with his big feet.
You girls can go ahead and do the Loop-de-Loop without me. That is a bit dangerous. Several years ago I broke my right leg, left foot, and right wrist just walking around my patio. Yes, it's true!! So, you can imagine what would happen if I tried that.
Maybe I can just go along and watch. Congrats to anyone that gets that yummy, hot soup.

Lol Brenda! I was so moved by your sweet story of the flower seeds, and the next moment, I am laughing, and wondering what kinda moves you make on your patio to sustain so much personal damage! Sistah! Please, tell me you were skate boarding or some crazy thing....Ok, so you and me can sit together for tea, have some cake and you kin tell me all bout it! Beautiful card Brenda- your splash of red with those wonderful soocre lines are gorgeous.

Oh my what a darling card and such a sweet reason for it. Scattering seeds for Abner to have a flower garden is just sooooooo sweet. After my dream last night I do not need any more excitement so lets just sit and eat chocolate and watch the rest of the 42,000 partiers do their thing on a snowboard!!!! tfs.
hugs,

I love your sweet card, Brenda.. The pretty poppy and seed pod, the little blue bird, scored lines.... So what were you doing on your porch to sustain all those bodily injuries... ?

Well, it's a good thing you're on the side of caution because no one else seems to be. Oh, Benzi, what an alwful thing to have happen! Hopefully, you've healed way better than Debzi. I think the red is the perfect thing to spice up the troups working to get good ole Abner to the finish line with some color.

Well Brenda, is this not one of the best ideas for spreading a little color or what! That little birdie sure has his job cut out for him. I can't wait till all those red poppies pop out! Gonna be beautiful. Abner will just love this. Know I do. Awesome wonderful card. TFS :0)

adorable card! Love the little bird and the scoring is fabulous! Ouch - what an awful time you had after your patio accident. I don't know if you have the same joke in the US, but in the UK people often joke about having bodies buried under the patio - yes, it's a bit macarbre! I was just wondering if you were trying to get a head start!

Wonderful idea to plant a garden for Abner - and you can just sit in a lawnchair with a cup of tea so as not to break anything!! Lovely card - love the little birdie!!
