I wanted a fresh look, and was drawn to these colors. (Ralph Lauren brand California Poppy GH170 & Manila GH154) They were the only ones that my husband and I agreed on, and they really brighten up the room! The new flooring helps, too! It's just *hot* without window treatments right now!
Ribbon holder is Rubbermaid 18 in W 4 tier door/wall rack - Item # 62418. It was 12.50 at my Home Depot. We cut it in half so that it would fit under the shelving. Beate has the twin.
I did add 4x? pieces of matboard to keep the ribbons from sneaking through the slats. It was not needed, but looks much better with them all level.
Here's a before shot: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers - there are more in my gallery if you want to see just what kind of a hoarder/packrat I am!

Thank you for the compliments! I am LOVING the color and the new floors! We've been here 5 1/2 years, and this is the first time I've been genuinely GIDDY over my room! The pumpkin-y color is "California Poppy" and the yellowish color on the remaining walls is "Manila" - both are by Ralph Lauren. The supports for our counter are Always Artichoke - they color matched for me once I realized what I'd done with the other two walls!
It's only clean & neat for a few more minutes. I have 37 swap cards to make, and I am an explosion specialist. This is *the* last time it will look like this!!!
