Congrats, Diane! I always love looking in your gallery. I chose Thinking of You x 3 to case. I've loved these cards since she first uploaded them. I have that bird stamp, but I'm supposed to change a few things so it won't be a direct copy. It was hard not to copy because I love everything just the way it is.
That being said, I changed the images, the 3rd color from soft sky to bashful blue, embossed my images instead of using dp, moved the sentiment on to its own tag (had to, I stamped the original crooked, so off w/ its head!) and made faux brads instead of real ones. I kept her wonderful layout and using black/white w/ one other color.
I changed this to a sympathy card because all of a sudden I need 3 sympathy cards. Isn't that sad? This one I used all LIWP stamps because it's going to the LIWP owner who lost her father. Her business partner and daughter also had back surgery the same week so they've had a tough time. They are the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet and I enjoy working w/ them so much. If you feel inclined, please visit their site and tell them I sent you. www.lasimppan.com
I embossed all the images; either black on white or white on black. Since I didn't have Diane's beautiful dp, I had to make my own and I wanted the colors to be crisp. Pretty much all of it is put together similar as Diane's, it was so great, I didn't want to change it. I made the faux brads w/ 2 sizes of hole punches. The sentiment is now on a Levi tag due to the boo-boo where I had to cut it off the bottom of the wreath image. TFL

Beautiful card! Love the black and white with the accent.

Julie this is just so wonderful: What a beautiful card for a difficult situation. It's perfectly done in black and white w/just a hint of soft blue. Beautiful interpretation of Diane's original.
