A small group of us choose a fellow SCSer with a unique username, determine a theme, make a card for that person, and then send it to her. This month Cindy Haffner chose orangegymnut! We were challenged to make a card with orange on it and it had to have a gym theme.
Since I don't have any stamps related to sports or a gym, I borrowed this stamp set from a friend of mine. Basketball can be played in a gym, so I figure I'm covered. :-)
I stamped the basketball in Pumpkin Pie and then used one of my embossing folder to give it that dimpled effect. I adhered it with a dimensional above the net.
This sketch design is also for a challenge issued by OCCC, Our Creative Corner. Here's the link if you want to check it out and play: http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/

I'm just sitting here looking at this card with such joy: I've seen some of your other challengers' cards, and they're all so great. I just wish I could see Tanya's face when she sees this one with the hoop! She probably goes that, too. charlene, is this really a great great card!

Too cool, Charlene! Love your dry embossed basketball. The touch of blue on the ribbon is the perfect addition to all the orange. Great card, fun challenge!
