First off let me say, this looks so much better in real life! I have a problem photographing greens and yellows. If you have any suggestions to correct my problem, please let me know. I am open to suggestions.
For this challenge, I was inspired by the rich colors and swirly flowers on the one of the pages, I didn't plan on doing this challenge, but I just bought this stamp and had planned on coloring it with Twinkling H2O's, but couldn't fine them. Searched most of the morning, then finally right before my eyes, I found them. So I stamped my image with versa mark on whisper white cs and embossed with gold ep. I colored it with my newly found H2O's and sponged oregano all around. Then I thought to my self, these colors go well with todays IC so I decided to finish it and post.
To finish the card, I cut out the image using fiskar frames wave shape. Something I found I had while looking for the H2O's. Then I sponged the edges some more. Glued the cut out image onto a green card that I gold embossed on the edges with my gold leafing pen. Put the ribbon on, doodled around the image and proceeded to take this horrible picture. Sorry, but I wanted to share it anyway. TFL :0)

WOW!
I think this is AWESOME...very retro looking!
I some times have trouble photographing and found that using my craft light as a spot light, no flash and taking pics in Macro give me the best results... I actually take a few pics with and without the flash and decide whatever one is clearest and true to color when I download to my pc.

What are you talking about, girl? This is a great photo. I love your technique ... of course never to be repeated over here. Love your embossing and your new stamp. WhoHoo this is just great, Cathy!

This is one gorgeous new image you got here! I love the gold embossing coupled with the twinkling H2O's! This is a wow for sure and I don't think the photo is bad at all! I have trouble with soft light colors.... they never look good on this site... so I know your frustration if the IRL looks better... but it's hard to believe this could be much better! Love it!

This is very pretty! Love that image and your coloring. Some colors are hard to photograph. I usually light mine from above w/ my Ott light, as it's a daylight bulb, and no flash. Seems to really make a difference. If not, try taking it in real daylight.
